The reinforced silica aerogel and composite silica aerogel doped with fibrous bructite and titanium dioxide opacifier had been prepared by sol-gel method and supercritical drying technique, using tetraethoxysilane as precursor. The thermal stability and micromorphology of the reinforced silica aerogel and composite silica aerogel had been studied by the differential thermal analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and scanning electron microscopy and these properties had been compared with pure silica aerogel. The results showed that the weight loss of silica aerogels increased a little and the thermal stability decreased slightly after fiber and TiO2 power were doped. But the porous netted structure of obtained reinforced and composite silica aerogels were very even and ordered, which will be enough to satisfy the demands of the super heat insulation and heat preservation of materials in the fields of avigation, spaceflight, civilian technology and industry.

In a multi-impeller stirred tank with 0.48 m diameter, the local bubble size distributions (BSD) in the sparged air-water system were measured at 24°C and 81°C by using the dual electric conductivity probe. The agitators including a hollow blade dispersing turbine below and two down-pumping or up-pumping hydrofoils above were identified as HEDT+2WH D and HEDT+2WH U, respectively. Both the calibration method and reconstruction model were used to convert the measured bubble chord length to the bubble size. The results show that the bubble sizes of using HEDT+2WH U are larger than those of HEDT+2WH D, and the difference is obvious in the regions near the bottom impeller and above the top impeller. The average bubble size of using HEDT+2WH U is 1.13 times of that of using HEDT+2WH D. The BSD measured at 81°C is similar as that measured at room temperature 24°C, but the average Sauter bubble size measured in hot system by using HEDT+2WH U is about 29% greater than that measured in cold system; and when using HEDT+2WH D, the average Sauter bubble size measured in hot system is about 26% greater than that measured in cold system. The measured bubble size values are in good agreement with those predicted by using the correlation published in literature.

The hybrid nanocomposite of polyaniline with better conductivity properties was synthesised by using Keggin structure nickel-substituted heteropolysilicotungstate K6(SiW11NiO40H 2)·15H2O as doping agent in microemulsion. The structure and morphology of materials were characterized by XRD, IR, UV-vis and TEM; the conductivity was examined by resistance tester. The characterization results showed that the polyaniline was doped by the insertion of heteropoly anion into molecular chains?Cobtaining spherical nano composite particle with better dispersion and its particle size between 10-60 nm; the conductivity of nanocomposite was 5.41×10-1 S/cm at room temperature.

According to different principles various aptamer biosensors have been designed. In this review, we mainly focused on the development of electrochemical, fluorescent and colorimetric aptamer sensors. To obtain a new solid phase time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay bifunctional chelate, a new intermediate compound, 4'-di(paminophenylethynyl)- 6,6'-bis[N,N-bis(t-butoxycarbonylmethyl)amino methyl]-2,2'-bipyridine was synthesized using 4,4'-dinitro-2,2'- bipyridine-6,6'-dimethyl bis(trifluoroacetate) as the initial material by four steps viz., hydrolyzation, bromination, esterification and substitution. The structure of the compound was charactered by IR, 1H NMR and HRMS.

A simple-structured 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) system presents interesting properties with dual fluorescent outputs. Modulated by solution pH two kinds of reversible switch behaviors, "ON-OFF" and "OFF-ON", were realized with the PAR system. Stimulated by different combination of external stimulus, such as metal ions, UV irradiation and solution pH, the PAR system could perform multiple logic functions including three inputs AND, two inputs INHIBIT and combinatorial "NOR/AND" in parallel. Traditional chemical analytical method for determination of SBS content in modified asphalt is improved by optimizing solvent, extraction times and time. Infrared spectroscopy(IR)is used to confirm the extraction effect. The results show that n-halothane is able to separate SBS and asphalting from asphalt effectively at normal temperature. Then, SBS is extracted with diethyl ether under optimal conditions. The gravimetric method is used to quantitatively analyze the SBS content in the experimental samples and the samples with known SBS contents (4%, 5% and 6%, respectively). The relative error of this method is less than 5% with recovery rate of around 92%-107%. Therefore, this method provides with a precise and rapid detection means to effectively supervise the quality of SBS in modified asphalt. ©, 2015, China National Chemical Information Center.
