This article introduces in detail the three components of video monitoring system of coal, by means of the target tracking technology and the effective integration of the license plate recognition technology, combined with the rotation of the PTZ function. This paper investigates the micropitting behavior of 35CrMo structural steel gears treated through laser surface-melted (LSM) treatment. Laser surface melting of 35CrMo structural steel gears was achieved by a 4.5. kW Nd:YAG pulsed laser with various laser energy densities. The microstructure and the phases present in the LSM gear teeth were analyzed by SEM and XRD. The FZG test rig was used for micropitting experiments. Post-test analysis included the weight loss measurement of gears (pinion and wheel). The micropits on the tooth flanks were inspected using SEM. XRD analytical results showed that martensite is the main phase in the LSM teeth flank. The LSM gears showed better micropitting performance as compared with the as-received one. The improvement in micropitting resistance of the LSM gears is due to grain refinement and solid solution hardening. © 2012 Elsevier B.V.

This paper carries out the analysis and comparison from the multiangle of flow characteristics, the complexity of modeling, prediction accuracy, and the application scenarios, and selects the flow control devices in the network bandwidth management to promote active, efficient, and intelligent bandwidth management services. Based on the log the flow control device generates, this paper summarizes the rules of campus network traffic and takes measures to control the assignment of the flow, so as to enhance the utilization ratio of the network. The results show that this method is simple and has better performance to meet the demand of real-time control of campus network traffic. © 2014 WIT Press.

In this paper, we use the bilateral filter to de-noise nighttime infrared monitoring images, in order that noises are reduced and edges are preserved. Considering that traditional bilateral filter does not balance gray-scale difference and the geometric distance in determining the weights of convolution kernel coefficients, we propose to give the two different values different weights, so that both of them are fully considered. Experimental results show that this algorithm can effectively remove noise as well as perfectly retain edge information. © 2014 IEEE.

An experiment on polysaccharides from Rhodiolae Radix (PRR) extraction was carried out using microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) method with an objective to establishing the optimum MAE conditions of PRR. Single factor experiments were performed to determine the appropriate range of extraction conditions, and the optimum conditions were obtained using orthogonal experiment design. The results showed that the optimum MAE conditions of PRR were as follows: solid-liquid ratio of 1:45 g/mL, irradiation power of 480 W, and irradiation time of 8 min, while extraction yield of PRR was 3.24 %.
