Using wavelet transform to handle auto-mobile image with complex background for license localization, then preprocess license characters on vehicle licenses, and extracting the textural features of license characters in wavelet space, this paper proposed a novel algorithm for vehicle license localization and character recognition which is based on adaptive wavelet neural networks. Firstly, it uses the wavelet transform to preprocess color vehicle image into index image which undergoes wavelet transform to obtain wavelet feature coefficients. Secondly, license position could be located through morphological operation. Thirdly, it extracts the features of localized license characters in wavelet space which is presented to the wavelet neural network as inputs. At last, an adaptive wavelet neural network based on wavelet transform is constructed to recognize license characters. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach could efficiently be used as a vehicle license characters recognition system with high convergence, which is robust for license-size, licensecolor and background complexity. © 2012 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

The static characteristic and dynamic characteristic of machine tool is one of the most important factors that affect the performance of machine tool, and it will affect the manufacturing final performance of the machine tool, and it is also an important index to evaluate the machine tool of high performances. Based on finite element structure analysis software ANSYS, the analyses of static and dynamic characteristics of VDL-1000 were conducted. The influencing factors to working accuracy were pointed out and a way was proposed to improve the structure of the machine center. All these can provide an important theoretical basis for the design and optimization of the machine center. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Select 45 pieces of silk, cotton and wool fabrics in total, with semi-circular skirt modeling as object of study, investigate the relationship between flare sagging in straight & inclined grains of skirt pieces and fabric types, analyze the influence of hem parameters on flare sagging of semi-circular skirt and obtain multiple linear regression equation by disposing the measured data with SPSS statistical analysis software. The study result shows that the skirt hem of silk fabric is sagging more significantly than that of cotton and wool fabrics and there is a multi-linear relationship between semi-circular flare sagging and parameters. The research of this subject has both theoretical value and practical value. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

It is urgent to calculate quickly and accurately the consumption quantity of sewing thread as it is an important part of counting up production cost and reducing inventory pressure. The study is made with uniform design test. The regression analysis of the test result of sewing thread quantity of plain seam results in the relational expression of sewing thread consumption quantity and sewing fabric thickness and stitch density. Compared with other relational expressions, the relation in this study is much simpler and more accurate.

Dyeing build-up of Lanasol LE of new proces on wool is studied, which is performanced by single-factor experiments such as the amount of auxiliary BU and acid,the time of thermal insulation. The experiment results show that dyeing color denth of the new dyeing process is improved much on the condition of the amount of auxiliary BU 3% (owf), dyeing temperature 98 °C, the time of thermal insulation 90 min. And also, dyeing rate and dyeing build-up are compared between new and traditional process of dyeing. The experiment results show that dyeing color denth of the new dyeing process is higher than dyeing color denth of the traditional process; the dyeing rate of the new dyeing process and the traditional process are related with the amount of dye.

Macroscopic formability, microstructure and mechanical properties of the ZA27 alloy worm gear blanks in permanent mold casting, in liquid forging and in semisolid die forging were investigated under various process conditions. The results show that the microstructure of the worm gear in permanent mold casting is fine-developed dendrite from the addendum to the graduated circle. Absence of dendritie in the addendum and broken phenomenon of the dendrite arm in the dedendum of the worm gear in liquid die forging can be observed, and it is obvious that the dendritic structure in the graduated circle is broken and spheroidized. The refined microstructure in the addendum with uniform distribution and rosette structure in the dedendum are presented in semisolid die forging, and the microstructure in the graduated circle exhibits fine equiaxed grain. It is difficult for the tooth profile of worm gear to form by permanent mold casting, and the worm gear has clear outline with plumptooth profile by liquid forging and the formability is more desirable by semisolid die forging. The mechanical properties of the parts by semisolid die forging are superior to those prepared by permanent mold casting and by liquid forging.

This paper proposes a density grid-based algorithm (C-UStream) for clustering on uncertain data stream in sliding window which can find clusters of arbitrary shapes. The statistical summary information of each grid is stored in linked queue structure by using sampling window mechanism. In order to guarantee the validity of clustering, the expired grids in the current window are removed regularly. Furthermore, a dynamic sporadic grids deletion mechanism is developed to delete most of outliers periodically which greatly improve the space and time efficiency. The experimental results on the synthetic and real data sets show that C-UStream has superior clustering quality and efficiency than other similar algorithms. © 2015 IEEE.

The dyeing of wool/polyester blended fabric is carried out with carrier-disperse dyes. Effects of the amount of carrier and Albegal B, bath ratio, the temperature of dyeing and the time of thermal insulation on the K/S value of the dyeing are analyzed through single-factor experiment, and the optimized process is obtained through single-factor experiment as follows; the amount of disperse dye 2% (owf) and weak acid dye 2% (owf), the amount of carrier 0.5% (owf), the amount of Albegal B 20 g/L, the amount of leveling agent 10 g/L, the value of pH 5.5∼6.0, the temperature of dyeing 100°C, the time of thermal insulation 70 min, bath ratio 1:20.

A control system for realizing temperature, fluid position height and pulling velocity during Ohno continuous casting process was described, which was composed of AI-808 artificial intelligent temperature controller with fuzzy self regulating to decide PID control function , touchscreen and PLC. The practical application shows that the control system exhibits the advantages of simple operation, reliable work and short developing period, friendly man-computer interface as well as subjected to adverse circumstance.

In order to solve the problems of much heat during braking process, and poor stability in high speed condition of the automobile wet brake, a new type of wet brake based on the layout of real time temperature control was proposed by analyzing the working principle of the layout scheme, a new type of wet brake model was established, finally, the feasibility of the new type wet brake was verified by the bench test method. The theoretical calculation and experimental verification show that both results are consistent basically, the brake torque fluctuation of the wet brake based on the real-time temperature control system are obviously suppressed, and the brake torque stability of the brake process is obviously improved, and the brake torque of each stage is large than the traditional wet brake; the coolant temperature of the wet brake based on the real time temperature control system can be controlled in the vicinity of 70℃, which has a positive effect on improving the performance of the automobile brake system. © 2016, Editorial Department of JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL STRENGTH.
