With the accelerated pace of industrialization, information society, the applications of robot is very extensive. Based on rescue robot data studied at home and abroad, they are single function, low efficiency. After the actual research and analysis, the design is a kind of small size, multi-function, high efficiency and long-distance transport convenience intelligent robot. According to the outgoing field image the robot sent back, the operator uses a wireless remote control device, which delivers specific instructions to the robot to start relief work at the scene. The new type rescue robot has two multifunctional pneumatic arm, the left arm has five degrees of freedom and the right one has four. The arms can snatch, cut, crushed and so on. The new robot can not only be applied to both earthquakes, landslides, mudslides and other natural disasters on-site rescue jobs, also can be used for counter-terrorism, riot control, reconnaissance, mine and other dangerous conditions. © (2013)Trans Tech Publications,Switzerland.
