In situ synthesized TiC-TiB2 reinforced Ni based coating was fabricated by argon arc cladding on Q235 steel substrate using titanium, boron carbide, Ni60 as the precursor powders. The phase composite on and microstructure of the clad layer were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer(EDS). The results show that uniformly distributed TiC particles with the black petals shape and TiB2 particles with rod shape could be synthesized by the situ reaction. Compared to those unreinforced Q235 steel substrate, the hardness and the wear resistance of TiC-TiB2 reinforced Ni based composite coating were significantly enhanced. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In order to overcome the occurrence of insufficient oxidation reaction, high temperature oxidation resistance (ZrB2-SiC)/Si composite coating was fabricated on the surface of graphite electrode by argon arc cladding, process using the Si, Zr and B4C power blends. The microstructure and phase composition of the clad layer were researched by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD). The result shows that the coating consist of ZrB2 and SiC particles, The combination of the cladding layer and the graphite matrix results in kind of a continuous interface without visible defects. As the result of burning 60 min at 1573K, the oxidation weightlessness rate is 0.62%. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In view of more and more complicate driving and parking problems in urban traffic, the parking guidance system are proposed based on a double signal double display intersection vehicle terminal. The system is based on the information interaction between intelligent terminal, vehicle terminal and vehicle of internet, and to introduce the space maze module and automobile internal information, by simulation maze module planning the different target route and its navigation through the intelligent terminal screen, at the same time instant maze module choice and determine the real-time path navigation through the on-board navigator screen, and to improve the accuracy of target navigation. The system will be the target route and real-time route through their channel respectively on the intelligent terminal and vehicle navigation cross presentation, realize the whole process of target parking navigation, or real-time navigation guidance section step by step according to the real-time parking lots, and in order to improve the parking navigation accuracy to provide an effective means of technology. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This paper analyses software and hardware, the content of information display and the method of fault diagnosis of the old information management system of the hoist with AC-AC converter. Communication between the information management system and PLC has been investigated. The way to translate the communication protocol of the hoist of AC-AC converter imported has been found. The software Visual Basic 6.0 is adapted to programmer and make up the interface. The faults diagnosis system which can provide the fast device maintenance and the faults localization during system running has been reconfigured. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Aiming at the problem of the driving and parking difficulties in the more and more complicated urban traffic, the double signal double display (DSDD) intersection vehicle terminal system is proposed for parking navigation. This system is to use the intelligent terminal, vehicle terminal, and vehicle of internet (VOI) and to realize the parking information interaction. In addition, in order to improve the navigation accuracy will be introduce the space maze module that is simulation maze module and instant maze module. The simulation maze module planning the different target route and instant maze module choice and determine the real-time path navigation by the intelligent terminal and on-board navigator. The system will display the target route and real-time path through their channel respectively on the intelligent terminal and vehicle terminal, and to realize the whole process of target parking navigation and according to the target parking lot to guide the real-time path navigation step by step. In order to improve the parking navigation accuracy the system provides effective technical means and to avoid the navigation error, and using the parking management information sharing platform meet customers to the convenient degree in parking navigation. © 2014 IEEE.

Parking information release is large flow, and released information is not timely and accurately. In order to solve these problems the global internet of things of stereoscopic parking system is proposed based on the timer control to the parking information. The system will be use the core technology of internet of things and combination of timer and elastic pressure switch with a pressure sensor, and using their electrical circuit to realize the parking information acquisition, storage, and release with reliable and accurately. Experimental result shows the electrical circuits will be better and accurately obtained the parking information. The car user uses the vehicle terminal to search the target parking lot and to receive the parking information. Future gradually extended to the smart phone and on board navigator system. This system will be to alleviate the urban traffic and improve the utilization efficiency of urban parking lot, for the future of the city and social development to provide better technical support and basis. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The deformation and densification behaviors of pure Al powders during 1-4 passes equal channel angular pressing and torsion (ECAPT) under route A at 200°C were investigated using numerical simulation and experiment investigation. In addition, both grain refinement mechanism and the evolution of microstructure and mechanical properties were deeply discussed. The bulk ultrafine-grained pure aluminum with fine microstructure and enhanced mechanical properties was fabricated. The results show that with the increasing pass number of ECAPT, the imposed strain increases. Due to the work hardening, the peak load also increases. As the hydrostatic pressure increases under multi-pass ECAPT, residual porosities in the powder consolidates are effectively shrunk and closed, which contributes to the improvement of deformation uniformity and density of the compacts. During ECAPT process, continuous dynamic recrystallization occurs. As the number of ECAPT passes increases, grains are further refined and mechanical properties are largely enhanced. After 4 passes of ECAPT, the microstructure consists of homogeneous ultrafine grains of 600 nm in size and equiaxed in shape with high angle grain boundaries. Moreover, the tensile strength reaches 123.3 MPa.

The double-fed control strategy for AC hoist motor is discussed in this paper. The AC/DC/AC power converter is adopted as main circuit. Three-phase neutral-point-clamped three-level rectifier is used as AC/DC link to realize unity power factor at grid-side, which reduces harmonic distortions. For the DC/AC inverter, three-level topology is used, which is controlled by stator-flux oriented vector control method. Meanwhile, energy flows in bidirectional way by back to back three-level power converter. The hoist motor control system obtains a high dynamic performance when stator side operating in unity power factor condition. The reliability and safety of hoist system is improved based on double PLC. The control system mentioned in this paper is being used to control a shaft hoist with a capacity of 260kW, and the power saving is remarkable. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The in situ synthesized ZrC particulate reinforced metal matrix composite coating was fabricated on AISI1020 steel by gas tungsten arc (GTA) cladding powder mixture of Nickel, Zirconium and Graphite. The microstructure and wear resistance of the composite coating were investigated. It is shown that the coating is bonded metallurgically to the substrate and has a homogeneous fine microstructure containing both approximate cubic ZrC particle uniformly dispersed in matrix of (Fe,Ni) solid solution. Compared to a substruate, the hardness of the composite coating was increased by a factor of 6, could achieve a Vicker microhardness of HV0.21100. And the wear resistance in a block on ring test against YG8 was increased by a factor of 10. This is attributed to the presence of in situ synthesized ZrC particles and their well distribution in the coating. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The main goal of this study was to use Rice Straw (RS) in the production of environmentally sound composites using Cornstarch Adhesives (CA). Treatments of RS with NaOH, oxalic acid and hot-water were undertaken to evaluate the effect of such treatments on the characteristics of rice straw and the performance of produced composites. Results showed that all treatments were efficient in partially changing RS surface properties, as evidenced by FTIR and improving wettability of RS. The dependence of physical-mechanical properties of obtained composites on treatments performed on RS was studied. Hot-water treated straw composites displayed the best set of final mechanical properties. The composites exhibited poor waterproof performance, but considerable moisture resistance and environment-friendly properties. © Maxwell Scientific Organization, 2013.
