Downtown San Francisco parking data from 2011 to 2014 were analyzed and the spatial heterogeneity of the effect of the price change on the roadside parking occupancy was studied. The dynamic parking charge policy was implemented for the roadside parking space in this area. According to the parking occupancy, the price was determined. When the block parking occupancy was above, below or at the desired level, the parking price dynamically increased, decreased or remained the same. The geographically weighted regression model method was used to capture the spatial heterogeneity of the effects of the price change in different blocks on the parking occupancy. The implementation steps of dynamic parking pricing policy were put forward. The results show that the sensitivity of the price change for roadside parking demand has obvious spatial heterogeneity. The time slots, neighborhood characteristics, social demographics and other variables also have significant impact on the change of the parking occupancy. The results can be used for strategy development of the roadside dynamic parking pricing policy, promoting the gain of the desired parking occupancy. © 2017, Editorial Department of Journal of Southeast University. Based on rainfall data, weather information and forest structure from June to September in 2007, we applied the revised Gash analytical model to simulate subalpine Quercus aquifolioides forest canopy interception in the upper reaches of Minjiang River. The results showed that the canopy storage capacity was 0. 23 mm, the stem storage capacity was 0. 041 mm, the stemflow partitioning coefficient was 0. 013, and the amount of rainfall needed to saturate the canopy was 0. 3 mm. The canopy interception was 80. 2 mm during the study period, which was 16. 5% of total rainfall, whereas the total interception by applying model was 81. 8 mm which was higher over 1. 6 mm of measured value. There was a good consistency between the simulated and measured value in the weekly cumulative amount of canopy interception and stemflow. The sensitivity analysis indicated that the revised Gash analytical model was the most vulnerable to be influenced by the canopy water storage capacity, followed by canopy coverage, stem water storage capacity, and stemflow coefficient as well during the study period in the subalpine Q. aquifolioides canopy interception in the upper reaches of Minjiang River. Our result suggested that the revised Gash analytical model with a physical basis was an effective tool in estimating and budget the canopy interception in a subalpine Q. aquifolioides forest.

For the purpose of improving the campus parking berth's utilization efficiency in central city, campus shared-use parking decision was built, which was a two-layer model of berth allocation. The upper model proposed four types of judgment criteria on shared-use parking rules considering the parking supply and demand characteristics and reserved berth requirements. The lower model predicted parking demand time-varying state, proposed the improved SEM-Logit parking choice behavior model to simulate the actual process of car park and proposed shared-use berths dynamic allocation process. Three parameters were defined to evaluate the sharing effects, including shared berth utilization efficiency, illegal parking ratio and berth occupancy ratio. Nanjing Medical University with the surrounding residential parking lots was taken as an example to validate the model. The results show that the campus parking sharing time session should be set during 7:00-8:00, 10:00-12:00 and after 16:00, while the residential affiliated parking lots focus on 7:00-10:00 and 12:00-15:00. Campus should open the parking berth to residential area at night, while residential area should open in morning and in afternoon. After setting shared-use parking, oversaturated parking at campus and residential area reduces significantly and berth utilization efficiency improves. © 2015, Xi'an Highway University. With the impact of large-scale wind power integration on power systems increasingly obvious, wind farms are required be equipped with the adjusting ability of active power that can control active power output of wind farms. Considering the situation that variable pitch wind turbines coexist with fixed pitch turbines in some wind farms, this paper presents an active power control strategy considering combined control of fixed and variable pitch wind turbines, with priority of analyzing the adjustable potential of wind farms, reducing the fixed pitch wind turbine start-stop frequency by adjust the variable pitch wind turbines. If the adjustment of variable pitch wind turbines cannot meet the requirement, the fixed pitch turbines will be controlled. In this paper, the least impacting units are selected to participate in start-stop control, to reduce the control overshoot as far as possible. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy has been verified by calculation of the data acquired from a wind farm in Inner Mongolia. ©, 2015, Power System Technology Press. Most of the published models cannot properly incorporate the outages of wind turbines in estimating the stochastic variation of the wind power output. In reality, wind turbines are exposed to an open and uncontrolled environment, sometimes harsh, to harvest energy from wind. The environmental condition of wind turbines is thus worse than that of the conventional generators. This results in a relatively higher outage probability of the wind turbines, which significantly affects the power output from a wind farm. This paper proposes a model for including the outage probability of wind turbines in simulating the power output of wind farms. The contribution of this paper is in introducing a model to represent the relationship between the outage probabilities of wind turbines and wind speed and then integrating this model with a frequency-domain wind power output model. A numerical simulation approach based on the Monte Carlo method is then proposed to simulate the wind power variation including the outage probability of wind turbines. A validation study based on the field-measured data from a real wind farm shows that the simulated wind power variation matches well with the actual field measurements when the probability-based outage model is included in the calculations. © 2012 IEEE.

Rapid urbanization and population pressure have course the problem of wetland environmental degradation and damage, but the development of eco-tourism on the premise of protection of bio-diversity is an ideal model of achieving coordination between environmental protection and socio-economic development. This paper take Ecological Water Resort of Hongze Lake national nature reserve, Sihong, Jiangsu for example to research the technique of ecological rehabilitation and landscape planning of wetland resort. The key problem of ecological rehabilitation is rebuilding and restoring the structure of wetland, repairing wetland vegetation, controlling sewage disposal, providing suitable site for birds to forage and free from interference of the visitors. Landscape planning of wetland resort should embody local customs and characteristics, at the same time, priority should be protecting with moderate development and reducing interference to a minimum extent, and establishing an effective tourism infrastructure. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

According to the accident cases, this article summarizes the bad driving behaviors leading to accidents based on the research of driving behavior at home and abroad. These bad behaviors are classified. At the same time, the questionnaire is designed and performed investigation. Then the common factor of driving behavior classification are concluded used factor analysis which avoids the shortcoming that the classification of driving behavior can't be survey directly. The association of common factor and social and economic characteristics is analyzed. Life attitude and daily driving situation of drivers is also considered. And also the differences among the different kinds of novice driver would be get using One-Way ANOV. Those could promote the study of driving behavior to more quantitative, detailed-oriented and specific direction, and assist traffic safety education to more targeted, specific direction.

Due to enhanced economic production as well as incentivized demanding supply management (DSM) strategies, solar photovoltaics (SPV) have experienced a phenomenal global annual growth rate but with a very limited contribution from the personal consumption sector, especially that of on-grid decentralized SPV. One of the reasons for this lies in the difficulties involved in unlocking the traditional production paradigm and lifestyle, based on centuries of conventional fossil-energy consumption. In response, this paper examines the case of Nine Dream Island in Nanjing, China, a pioneer of post-fossil emerging power supply communities providing on-grid SPV, to reveal the obstacles that lie beyond technological and economic factors involved. Empirical data including in-depth interviews illustrate the politico economic strategies of these communities in creating a new post-fossil production and consumption paradigm. In particular, it is suggested that, despite the National Development and Reform Commission's economic driving force in the form of 0.42 ¥/kW h state subsidies in Nanjing, the complex pattern of governance structures and institutional arrangement characteristics overwhelmingly impedes public acceptance of a low-carbon model of production and consumption. Overall, the paper helps to shed light on the development and adoption of SPV as a post-fossil consumption and production technology in new market countries where administration forces provide a more important role in creating a new path-dependence for the adaptation of innovation technologies. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd.

Traditional analog-controlled DC/DC converter can only employed easy control method and always has complicated hardware structure. It's extremely unfavorable in improving efficiency and reducing the cost of hardware. In this paper, a new full digital control method has been proposed. This method employed an advanced main circuit topology combining with an ARM MCU, it can reduce power supply's volume and cost, improve its efficiency effectively. The Topology of main circuit is reasonable, the design of parameters was right. All the results were consistent well with theory analysis. The power supply can realize leading leg's ZVS and lagging leg's ZCS in a big load range. The whole system has concise hardware structure, reliable control method and good man-machine interface, so it has high practical value. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In the C/S mode, according to the characteristics of data organization of tile map, the method is proposed by adopting ArcEngine customized layer to draw and project the Tile Map dynamically. The thread pool, asynchronous access technology, cache, and Net memory management mechanisms are combined to improve the efficiency of the implementation process and user interoperability. In addition, taking into consideration that the tile mosaic technology on Win32 library is specially suitable for processing small amount of data, whereas the tile mosaic technology on open source GDAL library is fit for large amount of data, the two methods are combined to implement efficiently tile mosaic. Finally, the urban planning information inquiry system shows the feasibility of the proposed method.
