Different fineness of lycra core-spun yarn and polyester core-spun yarn were woven on sample loom without weft in three kinds of different weft density. Yam breaking strength, breaking elongation, breaking strength decline rate, breaking elongation decline rate and the appearance of yarn are tested and analyzed. The results show that, with the weft density increased, the breaking strength reduced and the breaking strength decline, rate, breaking elongation decline rate increased. The structure of yarn become loose, tightness decreased and hairiness increased. In the condition of the same weft and warp density for different of the linear density, the smaller the liner density is, the change of the structure of core-spun yarn is smaller.

Three kinds of lycra/wool core-spun yarn were tested in different elongation. Yarn was retracted dramatically after test. Retraction property and morphology of core-spun yarn were analyzed. The results showed that,with the tensile fixed-length increased, retraction rate of yarn increased. When tensile fixed length was less than 10%, level of yarn retraction was lower and structure change little. When tensile fixed length was lager than 10%, evel of yarn retraction was higher. The yarn structure was destroyed after stretching. Morphology of core-spun yarn become loose and tightness decreased. Strands were retracted dramatically. The degree of twist of the two single yarn declined and pore appeared between two single yarn.

In this paper, the state of cashmere worsted fabric in China is analyzed. It is presented that material cost is on+e of main factors that hinders developing cashmere worsted fabric, as well as the poor overall design of cashmere worsted fabric and the technological lagging in textile and fabric finishing also limit the development of cashmere worsted fabric. Moreover, based on the requirement of hand and style of cashmere worsted fabric, the key technology problems of developing cashmere worsted fabric are raised, such as pure cashmere yarn count, cashmere and other fibers blends, yarn twist and fabric density, fabric finishing processes and its technology parameters.

In this paper, we develop a wool type PBT double stretch worsted fabric, using the property of wool type PBT and the design of double stretch worsted fabric. Discussing the properties of PBT fiber, it is sure that wool type PBT fiber in the field of worsted fabirc has advantages. Through the reasonable proportion of PBT and wool, the appropriate designing of the yarn density, coupled with the discussion of key technology of spinning, weaving and finishing process, we successfully develop wool/polyester (50/50) and double stretch fabric. The fabric is soft and has flat surface. The physical indicators all meet the national standards. Especially, the stretch of warp and weft reaches 10.5% and 11.5% respectively. In this paper, the operation demands and the process technical parameters of the key working procedure are especially researched, which has a certain guiding significance to the produce of the wool type PBT stretch fabric.

Electromagnetic (EM) shielding effectiveness of fifteen woven fabrics which use different yarns as raw materials were evaluated and compared in this paper. Test samples were obtained through the change of yarn structure, the content of stainless steel filaments and process parameters. Fabric electromagnetic shielding effectiveness(SE) was analyzed in terms of the content of stainless steel filaments fabric density and fabric tightness.The mechanism of electromagnetic shielding of worsted fabric with stainless steel filaments was further studied at different frequencies. The result has certain directive significance on developing high-performance woolen fabrics against electromagnetic radiation. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This article studies the superhydrophpbic worsted wool fabrics produced by surface chemical modification and repellent finishing. Firstly, using sodium dichloroiscocyanurat and sodium persulfate which have a certain oxidizing to modified the surface of worsted wool fabrics, and getting the best method to modified the surface of worsted wool fabrics: Sodium dichloroiscocyanurat : Sodium Persulfate = 1: 1, modification time 60 min, modification temperature 50 °C. Then repellent finishing of worsted wool fabric was adopted. Under the condition that the finishing agent C6 additives (OleophobolTMCP - SLA) 10% (owf), bath ratio 1: 10, temperature 30 °c, dipping 15 minutes, eventually rejected water contact angle of worsted wool fabric can reach 151°, obtained the very good super waterproof effect.
