Izhevsk State Technical University is a university in Izhevsk, Russia. The university can be abbreviated as IzhSTU . It was founded in 1952 in the period of intensive industrial development when there was an increasing demand in highly qualified engineers, capable of managing production processes. On the date of its 60th anniversary it was named after the legendary small arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov.At present Kalashnikov ISTU is a leading higher educational institution in the region and one of the leading technical schools in Russia, a training center of engineers and academics.Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University is a signatory of Magna Charta Universitatum in Bologna, Italy and a full member of European University Association . 6 bachelor and 1 master study programs of Kalashnikov ISTU have been accredited by Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency , Hannover, Germany with the possibility to issue internationally recognized diploma supplements.Kalashnikov ISTU has 5 branches in towns of Udmurt Republic and neighboring regions, namely: Votkinsk, Sarapul, Glazov, Kambarka and Tchaikovsky. Submission is focused on completing the information system about quality, operation, automatic testing and new evaluating method of vehicle subsystem. Numeric analysis is carried out on the base of automatic collection and systematic recording of commercial car operation. Proposed new information system about operation and trial process allows verification according to the proposed method. Critical components verified in laboratory conditions are detected by numeric analysis of reliability. The paper presents diagnostics of mechatronic systems on the basis of AIbased techniques. The paper gives an analysis of diagnosis methods. Development of neural network for diagnosis of mechatronic systems are discussed. Diagnostics system software functions are determined. The input layer is used as the data acquisition unit on base National Instruments devices with LabView software. AI-based techniques for diagnostics are discussed. For diagnosis of CNC machines, a neural network can be applied, consisting of modules, which correspond to each CNC machines units. In the paper a way of representing situations in the form of attributed graphs is proposed. Graph nodes correspond to things, actions and relations between a situation’s subjects, and edges–to information links. Such model is relevant to human perception of situations, thereby facilitating extraction of knowledge from data about cases. An algorithm of modeling reasoning by searching for mapping of the graph of a case to the graph of an analyzed situation is described. A feature of the algorithm is the representation of each graph node by a separate processing element; thereby a deeper degree of parallelism in addition to a usual organization of parallel search threads is achieved. © Research India Publications.

Research is conducted regarding the influence of the deformability of the cantilever shaft and the torsion of the central gear on the load distribution over the tooth crown of two-row satellites in a planetary transmission. A method is considered to determine the axis compliance of a planetary pinion subject to the deformation of the carrier web. It is revealed that the deformability of the axis, its mating parts, and sun gear affects the load distribution over power flows and rims of a two-row pinion. Variation factors for the load distribution in gear meshes are determined by solving of sets of displacement compatibility equations including the compliance of gear units and by its preparation error. © 2015, Allerton Press, Inc.

The connection between the problems of celestial mechanics: the Kepler problem, the two-center problem and the two body problem in spaces of constant curvature with the generalized Kepler and Hooke potentials is investigated. The limit passage in the two-center and two body problems in the Lobachevsky space and on a sphere is carried out as λ→ 0 (λ is the curvature of the corresponding space) for the two potentials. The potentials and metrics in spaces under study are written in the gnomonic coordinates. It is shown that as the curvature radius tends to infinity, the generalized gravitational and elastic potentials transform to the Kepler and Hooke forms in the Euclidean space. © 2016, Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht.

Mechatronics is an exhaustive coverage of the various aspects from design to testing of high technology computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines. With the introduction of advanced features on CNC machines and with the introduction of flexible manufacturing system (FMS) and computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) diagnostic systems to detect wear and breakage assumed importance as the operation on such systems are normally unmanned or minimally manned. A large number of systems are available for automatic tool monitoring on CNC machines. The basic monitoring principles are as follows: registration of tool working hours, measurement of output power, measurement of cutting forces, geometric measurement of tools or products [1]. Need to diagnose not only tools, but also to diagnose the machine modules. For diagnostics of machines modules and elements is necessary to apply artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.
