In this paper, we are interested to the modeling and control of a three phase DC-AC converter connected to a network in the case of a wind turbine equipped with a doubly fed asynchronous machine. The wind turbine equipped with a DFIG is a back to back converter, in wich the rotor power can flow in both directions toward or from the network. A strategy of sliding mode control is used to control the transitants currents between the converter and the network while choosing a null reference for reactive power. The controller design is made based on large signal averaging model widely used in the literature. Also, a linear proportional integral PI regulator is designed to regulate the value of the DC bus voltage in order to compensate the instantaneous powers calls. Simulation is carried out in SimPower toolbox of Matlab/Simulink. It's shown that the controller meets its objectives. © 2014 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. - All rights reserved.
