In this paper we introduce a new concept for lacunary strong P-convergent with respect to an Orlicz function and examine some properties of the resulting sequence space of fuzzy numbers. Spectrum sensing is the preeminent task of both cognitive radios and next generation wireless networks. There are various spectrum sensing techniques and methods presented in the literature. Performance evaluation of these techniques and methods is an important issue from the perspective of both the receiver and system design. In this regard, experimental studies that involve implementation, measurement, and performance evaluation of these methods under realistic conditions are of paramount importance, along with the relevant theoretical work. Therefore, in this paper, a generic measurement methodology is proposed to implement various spectrum sensing techniques and evaluate their performances. Mobile and immobile scenarios; line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight conditions; and presence/absence of perfect spectral knowledge cases are all investigated for both energy detector (first-) and second-order statistical receivers. Results are presented along with relevant discussions. Future directions are outlined as well. © 2014 IEEE.

Using Monte Carlo simulations, the cascade transition of a single polyelectrolyte chain having permuted charge distribution is investigated. The polyelectrolyte chain is simulated at various solvent regimes. The effect of the electrostatic interaction strength is studied. The structures are analyzed with respect to the scaling laws. The effect of permuted charge distribution is investigated in comparison to the other charge distribution in the literature. © 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

The aim of this paper is to introduce and study a new concept of strong double (A)Δ-convergent sequence of fuzzy numbers with respect to an Orlicz function and also some properties of the resulting sequence spaces of fuzzy numbers are examined. In addition, we define the double (A, Δ)-statistical convergence of fuzzy numbers and establish some connections between the spaces of strong double (A)Δ-convergent sequence and double (A, Δ)-statistical convergent sequence.

In this paper, we shall define and study the concept of λ -statistical convergence and λ -statistical Cauchy in random 2-normed space. We also introduce the concept of λ -statistical completeness which would provide a more general frame work to study the completeness in random 2-normed space. Furthermore, we also prove some new results.
