Profit is one of the main criteria of accounting, which is always taken into consideration for different purposes such as evaluation of the Return on Equity and management performance of the enterprises. Until the last few years, in most of the studies which are conducted on the effects of the accounting profit on the price or Return on Stock, enough attention was not paid to the profit quality. But in recent years, and after bankruptcy of some of large companies in the world, financial researchers and authors shifted their focus from the amount of the profit toward the profit quality. Considered the bankruptcy as an important issues in the financial management, because identification of the reasons of the bankruptcy and complete understanding of that by the management is really necessary, and can lead prevent from failure of the enterprise before bankruptcy by providing solutions for this problem. Because of the importance of the necessary mechanism and achieving desired profit quality, most of societies attempted to provide this mechanism. One of these mechanisms is providing a proper management system in enterprises and corporations, which most nations and countries tried to develop and improve this system. One of the reasons which lead to take the corporate governance into consideration is increase in crimes and financial distress all over the world. The main reasons which show the importance of the corporate governance: 1. Privatization process and investment based on the market 2. Technologic developments and financial markets and trade liberalization 3. Investment movement from the private investment toward the corporate investment 4. Increase in the financial solidarity and working of the investments and trades. Corporate Governance is the collection of the processes, manners, policies and regulations which affect the method of managing an enterprise. The importance of the corporate governance simply is governance of the public wisdom in the critical issues of the enterprise. Main active people in the corporate governance are the CEO, share holders and members of the board of the directors. Therefore in the present study we try to discuss the profit management and some of components of the corporate governance, as well as the relation between these two factors and the bankruptcy of the enterprises. © 2013 AENSI Publisher All rights reserved.

Target tracking is one of the most important applications in WSNs. Target tracking can be analyzed from different aspects. Fault tolerance to any failure is an essential in this context. Hence, we introduce a novel approach toward Base Station (BS) oriented clustering and tracking in WSNs. Proposed method overlooks ad-hoc ability of WSNs to earn energy efficiency and fault tolerance. BS is a powerful energy and computational resource; therefore we burden BS with major part of clustering and tracking operations. We used 3-D cubic antenna to enable our sensors to receive BS packets from long distance. Also, BS has a good knowledge of nodes energy level, therefore BS rotates activated nodes and CH to avoid load balancing problem. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time BS is employed in tracking application, hence we study proposed scheme extensively and demonstrate efficiency of this method using simulation results.

Increasing miniaturization and sensor communication abilities make them invisible and expand the availability everywhere in any time. Sensor network applications, increase the challenging issues related to design network protocols have emerged. One of them is increasing energy efficiency and lifetime in the network. Sensor nodes with limited energy reserves are deployed, so the network must operate with minimal energy overhead. This article focuses on improving the network lifetime by using energy efficient arrangement of nodes in a state primary goal to reduce energy waste with using energy balance. Therefore, learning automata capabilities to solve issues in sensor networks is appropriate is used. For the purpose mentioned above, energy balanced clustering technique based on learning automata is proposed that learning automata residing in the cluster head, for balance the best node is selected according to the amount of energy remaining as the new cluster head. Proposed technique with the NS2 simulator to simulate the behavior is evaluated. Results show that the calculated energy balance improves the life time of sensor network substantially. © 2011 IEEE.

Providing quality of service (QoS) for diverse multimedia services is an important issue in IEEE 802.16 (WiMAX) networks. A scheduling mechanism that satisfies the QoS requirements has become more important for multimedia networks. In addition, scheduling algorithms for wireless networks are much more complex than that of wired networks because of channel quality variations and radio resource limits. This paper introduces a QoS Aware Scheduling System, based on fuzzy logic, for traffic management in WiMAX point-to-multi-point (PMP) networks. The proposed method attempts to guarantee delay and throughput QoS criteria. It considers QoS criteria and radio quality of each user in decision making processes. A series of simulation experiments have been carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheduling system. The results show that the proposed method performs effectively to achieve QoS criteria and attains significant system performance for different types of traffic. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

DAG scheduling is of great importance to optimal distribution of tasks in parallel and distributed systems. In this paper a novel approach to DAG scheduling, utilizing learning automata across distributed systems, is proposed. The learning process begins with an initial population of randomly generated learning automata. Each automaton by itself represents a stochastic scheduling. The scheduling is optimized within a learning process. Compared with current genetic approaches to DAG scheduling better results are achieved. The main reason underlying this achievement is that an evolutionary approach such as genetics looks for the best chromosomes within genetic populations whilst in the approach presented in this paper learning automata is applied to find the most suitable position for the genes in addition to looking for the best chromosomes. The scheduling resulted from applying our scheduling algorithm to some benchmark task graphs are compared with the existing ones. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
