The structure and principle of MRPC was introduced Monte Carlo method was used to simulate the sensitivities of MRPC for neutron. The pulse neutron experiment had been done. The experiments showed that the application of MRPC in measuring fast neutrons energy spectrum by time of flight method was proved.

A α/β pulse discriminator system was designed, which can be used for the composite scintillation detector. And the testing results are giving. It has been shown that the discriminator has better discrimination and can satisfy the requirements of α/β composite scintillation detector.

The energy response of Geiger-Mueller (GM) tube to gamma radiation in wide energy range is mainly researched, and characteristics of energy response are briefly explained in theory. Some factors that influence energy response are analysed in the model of J4403 tube by Geant4.The analysis obtains energy response of compensated tube with various compensation shields, which provides the foundation for energy compensation.

Monte Carlo method was used to simulate the energy resolution of silicon photovoltaic detector for α-particle. The experiments showed that silicon photovoltaic detector had high energy resolution and detection efficiency. The influence of α-ray and α-ray was avoidable, so silicon photovoltaic detector was available to detecting α-particle.
