Lacustrine beach-bar sand is one of the important types of reservoirs in Gangzhong oilfield. In order to reveal beach-bar superimposed structure, an architecture model of beach-bar sandstone is proposed on the basis of deposition.outcrop,drilling core data and architecture theory. The architecture interfaces of beach-bar sand body is systematically defined,and six kinds of i- dentification methods of third order interface.six kinds of vertical combination characteristics and four kinds of plane identification markers of single sand bar are summarized. On profile, the single bar has flat bottom and convex top, asymmetrical shape, and show en-echelon arrangement. On the plane,the single bar has average length of 1 036 m,average width of 421 m,average thickness of 8. 7 m,average length width ratio of 2. 5 and average width thickness ratio of 49. 1. The directions of long axis is north to northeast with the angle of 15° and north to northwest with the angle of 295°,and the main direction is NNE. Combination with interface recognition and dynamic data, the Zhong9-61-2 single bar has classified intol4 hyperplasia by 13 mudstones. The research of single bar dissection provides theoretical basis for the future residual oil exploration.
