The composition of the essential oil from leaves of Croton bogotanus Cuatrec. was analyzed by GC and combined GC/MS. Forty-six constituents were identified, constituting 96% of the total composition. The composition of the essential oil from leaves of Astronium graveolens Jacq. was analyzed by GC and combined GC/MS. The composition of the essential oils from leaves of Salvia palaefolia Kunth was analyzed by GC and combined GC/MS. Fifty compounds were identified which constitute more than 84% of the composition. The chemical composition of the volatile compounds of aberia fresh fruit (Dovialys hebecarpa Warb.) was studied by GC and GC-MS. Forty-three compounds were identified, of which the composition of the fresh fruit was characterized by the major compounds (Z)-3-hexenol (1.77 mg/kg), (E)-2-hexenal (1.20 mg/kg) and (E)-2-hexenol (1.12 mg/kg).
