OBJECTIVE: To investigate the inhibited effects and mechanism of intraperitoneal sustained-release fluorouracil (Sinofuan) chemotherapy compared with ordinary fluorouracil (5-FU) on mice bearing H22 ascitic tumor. METHODS: Six-eight mice models were randomly assigned into 4 groups which were named as control group, saline control group, Sinofuan group (4 mg per mice) and 5-FU group (4 mg per mice). The mice's general states, body weight, and survival were observed. The cumulative ascites volume and number of tumor cells in per millilitre malignant ascites were determined. The apoptosis rates and the cell cycle of H22 ascitic cells were analyzed with flow cytometry and the expression of bax and Bcl-2 gene were detected by QRT-PCR and Western Bloting. RESULTS: Compared with the two control group the general state of the Sinofuan and 5-FU group mice were better such as the body weight increased slowly, and the survival time were longer (14 and 13 days vs 21 and 19 days, P<0.01). Compared with the 5-FU group, the Sinofuan group showed longer survival (P=0.047), lower ascites accumulation 〔(5.1±0.7) mL vs (7.8±0.9) mL, P<0.05〕, similar count of ascites tumor cells 〔(7.02±0.98)×108 mL-1 vs (7.86±1.05)×108 mL-1; P>0.05〕 higher apoptosis rates 〔(24.9±5.0)% vs (20.1±4.5)%; P<0.05〕, higher S phase percentage 〔(52.19±4.60)% vs (39.25±5.84)%, P<0.05〕, lower expression of Bcl-2 gene (△Ct value: 9.57±0.67 vs 7.11±0.35, P<0.05; Gradation value: 0.22±0.029 vs 0.46±0.480, P<0.05) and higher expression of bax gene (△Ct value: 2.05±0.21 vs 3.72±0.53, P<0.05; Gradation value: 0.55±0.026 vs 0.34±0.018, P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Sinofuan had a better inhibitive effect on the formation of H22 ascitic tumor in mice than 5-FU. The mechanism may be that Sinofuan has a longer half-life, more apoptosis and higher S phase percentage on the H22 ascitic tumor cells.

The error sources of state of charge(SOC) estimation of li-ion battery based on Kalman filter is analyzed in this paper. To LiFePO4 power battery, the extremely flat part during the normal SOC range of SOC-OCV curve will require strong restriction to the voltage detection especially. This paper aims at the influence of the measuring precision of the voltage and current signal of battery management system (BMS) to SOC estimation of the li-ion battery including LiFePO4 battery. A simulation analysis is performed independently in Simulink on the assumption that other factors are under ideal conditions, in which the effects of Gaussian white noise and offset error of measurement of BMS are discussed respectively to simulate the actual vehicle condition. The principle to the precision index design of BMS is proposed according to the analysis result, in addition, a high-precision data acquisition system is developed as a precise calibration benchmark device for BMS. © 2011 IEEE.

Based on the pile-soil function and damper boundary condition influence by Finite Element Method, taking Bao-Shu yellow river extra long-span bridge as the project object, the deformation effect of the bridge subjected to flowing and melting ice in spring was analyzed considering dynamical action mode. The results revealed that the deformation from this kind of action is tittly small and the bridge structure is reliable and stable. Then the calculation and analysis have been put into design and construction stage. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

Biological invasion of ballast water has been detected to be a great threat to marine ecosystem and human beings. However, so far less suitable method has been developed to obtain an effective, economic, safe, operational and clean onboard treatment method of ballast water. Hence porous ceramic filtration and UV radiation (PCF&UV) combination treatment is studied in the paper to propose a novel way to solve the problem. Targeted for the IMO convention, alga removal efficiencies and bacteria inactivation efficiencies were tested at different alga density and different flow rate. The results showed that 100% targeted alga can be removed and 100% marine bacteria can be inactivated at the appointed alga density. Optimal flow rate of 7m3/h is proposed for a 6L porous ceramic filter according to the results. The mechanism behind high removal efficiencies and inactivation efficiencies were researched as well. © 2012 IEEE.

A re-configurable MASH ΣΔ ADC is implemented in 0.18μm CMOS process. The proposed technique configures the ADC architecture for optimal power for specific resolution and applications. For high performance applications, the first integrator stage of the cascaded modulator may be constructed from larger transistors and capacitors to reduce thermal and op amp noise. However, this larger first stage also consumes more power than later stages constructed from smaller transistors and capacitors. Thus the first stage tends to provide a higher resolution while consuming more power than later stages, which have lower performance and lower power consumption. The principal advantage of this architecture is that the ADC is adaptable for applications with different performance and power consumption requirements. Although the ADC was designed for audio applications, this re-configurability is also useful for multimode communication systems. © 2012 IEEE.

Based on Dongting Hu three-tower cable-stayed bridge on high-speed railway, different cable measures to improve structural rigidity were studied by using finite element method (FEM). The results show that it's effective to adopt stiffening cables between towers to improve the rigidity of the bridge. The ratio of deflection to span (RODTS) with level stiffening cables is the smallest and the total axial force of these level stiffening cables is the biggest compared to other two arrangement modes with inclined and level-inclined stiffening cables respectively. Over-lapped strengthening cables can effectively improve the rigidity of the bridge. The RODTS decrease with the increase of the number of the over-lapped strengthening cables. With the increase of the areas of the stay cables, the RODTS decrease approximately linearly. © 2011 IEEE.

In the evaluation of structural reliability, failure is defined as the event in which stress exceeds a strength that is liable to deterioration. A method is presented to consider stochastic loading and strength degradation for computing the time-dependent reliability of a structural component. The deterioration process is modeled as a gamma process, which is a stochastic process with independent non-negative increments having a gamma distribution with identical scale parameter. The stochastic process of loads is generated by a Poisson process. Numerical analysis of example shows this time-dependent reliability model provides accurate results. © 2011 IEEE.

In view of shortcomings such as premature convergence and oscillation in Simple Genetic Algorithms (SGA), the article adopts the method of adaptive adjusting for the probabilities of crossover and mutation. So the Improved Genetic Algorithms (IGA) is formed by adding the transgenic operator to SGA. And the optimum design program of steel box-concrete composite arch bridge based on improved genetic algorithms is simultaneously developed. The arch section optimum of steel box-concrete composite arch bridge is firstly conducted by using the program. Then the arch axis optimum is conducted by using the optimized arch section parameters. Recomputation of the optimized steel box-concrete composite arch bridge is conducted by using the fem program in the end. The numerical experiment shows that the optimization result meets the demands, the mechanical behavior of arch rib is improved and the project cost is obviously reduced. ©2010 IEEE.

In order to solve the inefficiencies, labor-intensive, inconsistent quality and other shortcomings in traditional package bag artificial production, a prototype of doubleposition automatic bagging machine based on Omron PLC and HMI was developed by the authors. Considering both industrial site requirements and experimental analysis, the authors put forward a new operation mode of double-position. The bagging machine control strategy are analyzed. Not only the control method of hardware system are discussed, but also the software of control system are introduced. Using PLC as the core controller can guarantee the accuracy of site control, stability and real-time, but also has good scalability and portability features. Composed of servo encoder feedback loop form a closed loop control system, which achieves the accurate and stable control of the system. Practical operation effect shows that the machine is running high reliability, friendly man-machine interface, greatly improve the efficiency of the sack, reduces the labor intensity, has a broad market prospect. © 2014.
