This paper intercession is due to an undesirable penury state regarding eligible technical equipment for use in Ex classified areas. This fact competed with the negative dynamic of material possibilities leads to an apparent lack of interest regarding protection to explosion. As a solution to the identified problem, the authors propose the use of normal construction technical equipment adapted according to prescriptions of "pz" pressurized enclosure protection type. This intercession presents a good estimated level of tolerance to customer and will lead to the decrease of explosion risk level due to technical equipment and lower acquisition, maintenance and repair specific costs. Actual firedamp monitoring systems, placed in firedamp mines from Romania, interrogate the detection heads (transducers) at a 4 minutes period, in order to monitor methane concentration. In site, in this time, methane accumulations can occur and could result even explosions. This paper presents a new system that monitors the methane concentration by interrogating the transducers at a period of 4 seconds. Concurrently, with the help of this system, even other environmental parameters are monitored, and the number of detection heads can be increased from 40 to 64 or more, as necessary. Source

The lack in exploiting the data resulted from the security parameters monitoring process represents a state of fact equivalent with economical losses. In this paper, the authors recommend that some indirect parameters obtained by calculus to be taken into account. These parameters give us additional important clues regarding the forecast of monitored parameters. Thus, two theoretical models have been proposed and the algorithms were conceived. The implemented calculation program has been tested using an artificial set of values for the monitored parameter. Source
