In view of more and more strict requirements on surface quality of camshaft NC grinding, the influence of grinding process parameters on the grinding surface roughness was analyzed. Using vitrified bond CBN wheel, CNC high speed and ultra-high speed grinding experiments were carried out. The results showed that under the same grinding conditions, the minimum roughness value was in the cam lift, and that the surface roughness of the key parts with different cam profiles would reduce with higher wheel speed, but increase with larger cutting depth.
