As the traditional gray forecasting model GM(1, 1) has poor performance in forecasting the fast-growing power load, we present a chaotic co-evolutionary particle swarm optimization (CCPSO) algorithm, one with better efficiency than the PSO algorithm. Based on the GM(1, 1) model, the CCPSO algorithm is adopted to solve the values of parameters a and b in GM(1, 1) model. This is how the way we come up with the CCPSO algorithm-based GM. As can be seen from experimental results of case simulation on the power consumption in three regions, the CCPSO-GM model is better than the other four forecasting models, which attests its wide applicability and high forecasting accuracy. © 2015 World Scientific Publishing Company.

AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets were welded by laser welding. Effects of ultrasonic power on the microstructure and properties of the welded joint were investigated by optical microscopy, Brinell hardness tester and tensile testing machine. In addition, the average grain size of the welding joint was calculated by the Image-Pro Plus software. The results show that effects of ultrasonic power on microstructure and properties of the coating exhibit very obvious. With increasing in ultrasonic power, the average grain size is decreased from 54 μm to 24 μm as a result of obvious cavitation effect and acoustic stream. The macro-hardness and tensile strength of the welding joint are increased at first and then decreased. When the ultrasonic power is 1 200 W, the average grain size reaches 24 μm. Meanwhile, the macro-hardness and tensile strength of the joint reach 56HB and 286.54 MPa, respectively. © 2016, Journal Office of Special Casting and Nonferrous Alloys. All right reserved.

Reasonable planning in-gating system, and setting up heat insulating feeder over the top of the hot spot of the bearing room to exhaust and feed during the casting design of the axle box. Except this, using chill to adjust hot spot at the bearing room and the bolt hole which connecting the traction motor, then to reduce the solidification time of these molten iron, avoiding the graphite to grow into the coarse graphite or degradated spheroidization, so to ensure that the spheroidization and graphite grade of the axle box casting to reach the requirements of the design standard.

With the constant enlargement of the range of application of wireless sensor network, extending wireless sensor network’ life cycle has attracted more and more attention under the circumstances of limited node energy. On account of three-dimensional space background for the environmental monitoring of high buildings, this thesis put forward an improved energy-saving optimum algorithm of LEACH: improving probability of high-energy node elected as cluster head during cluster head election; selecting a network with the minimum communication cost. The simulation experiment indicates that under the layout of three-dimensional space, improving algorithm makes the load of wireless sensor network more balancing, and extending network’ life cycle. what’ s more, simulation result, in a way, serves as theoretical basis for a further study on the life cycle of wireless sensor network. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A high precision power-on-reset and power supervision circuit is proposed. The accurate threshold voltage is achieved by a bandgap reference based on subthreshold MOS amplifier and hysteresis comparator. The current controlled ring oscillator and digital counter could reduce the static power consumption and provide programmable reset time. The circuit is simulated and validated by SMIC 0.18 μm CMOS process. The circuit draws 10 μA current from a 3.3 V supply, power on reset delay time is ranged from 200 to 400 millisecond, and the measured threshold voltage is 3 V±2%. ©, 2014, NUAA Printing House. Effects of W on microstructure and properties of wear-resistant coatings with W content from 0 to 7.5% prepared by argon arc cladding were analyzed by optical microscopy, hardness tester and wet sand rubber wheel tester. The results indicate that W has a obvious effect on microstructure and proper-ties of coatings. With the increase of W content, the austenite gradually disappears while the content of primary carbide M23C6 is gradually increased. With increasing in W content, the macro-hardness is increased from 52HRC to 62HRC while the wear resistance is increased firstly and then decreased. When W content is 5%, wear resistance of the coating is 22.5 times higher than that of substrate, which is attributed to M23C6 distributing uniformly in the coatings. © 2016, Journal Office of Special Casting and Nonferrous Alloys.
