This paper introduces the concepts of (α,β)-fuzzy (implicative, positive implicative, fantastic) filters and (β̄,ᾱ)-fuzzy (implicative, positive implicative, fantastic) filters of BL-algebras, where α,β∈∈γ,qδ,∈γ∧qδ, ∈γ∨qδ, ᾱ,β̄∈∈γ̄, qδ̄,∈γ̄∧qδ̄,∈γ̄∨ qδ̄, α≠∈γ∧qδ and β̄≠∈ γ̄∧qδ̄, and some related properties are investigated. Special attention is paid to (∈γ̄, ∈γ̄∨qδ̄)-fuzzy (implicative, positive implicative, fantastic) filters and (∈γ̄, ∈γ̄∨qδ̄)-fuzzy (implicative, positive implicative, fantastic) filters which are generalizations of (∈,∈∨q)-fuzzy (implicative, positive implicative, fantastic) filters and (∈̄, ∈̄∨q̄)-fuzzy (implicative, positive implicative, fantastic) filters studied in Ma et al. (2008, 2009) [34,35]. It also points out that Examples 3.1.2, 3.1.9, 3.2.2, 3.2.9 and 3.3.9 in Ma et al. (2009) [35] are incorrect. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

By means of ∈-soft sets and q-soft sets, some characterizations of (implicative, positive implicative and fantastic) filteristic soft B L-algebras are investigated. Finally, we prove that a soft set is an implicative filteristic soft B L-algebra if and only if it is both a positive implicative filteristic soft B L-algebra and a fantastic filteristic soft B L-algebra. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd. With the dielectric function derived from the chromohydrodynamic approach, we investigate the polarized charge distribution induced by a fast parton traveling through the viscous quarkgluon plasma. Our results show that viscous effects on the induced color charge density are speed dependent. When the fast parton moves with a speed less than the average speed of plasmon in the quarkgluon plasma, shear viscosity has a trivial impact on the color charge wake. While the fast parton speed is larger than the plasmon speed, viscous effects modify the strength and structure of the induced charge wake significantly. With the increase of η/s, shear viscosity enhances the oscillation of the induced charge density, but makes the cone angle formed by the polarized charges less remarkable. © 2012 IOP Publishing Ltd.

The T-fuzzy n-ary subhypergroups of an n-ary hypergroup are defined by using triangular norms and some related properties are hence obtained. In particular, we consider the probabilistic version of n-ary hypergroups by using random sets and show that the fuzzy n-ary hypergroups defined by triangular norms are consequences of some probabilistic n-ary hypergroups under certain conditions. Some results on n-ary hypergroups recently given by Davvaz and Corsini are extended. © 2009 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

discuss the biological function and regulation mechanism of curcumin in promoting human gastric carcinoma BGC-823 apoptosis. Conventional in virto culture in logarithmic phase gastric carcinoma BGC-823 cells; cells are divided into four groups: control group, low treatment group, middle treatment group and high treatment group, with curcumin concentration being 0 mg/L, 5 mg/L, 10 mg/L, and 20 mg/L, respectively. 24 hours after curcumin is treated, cell proliferation level and apoptosis rate are measured with MTT colorimetry and flow cytometry, Bax, Bcl-2 protein expression is measured with immunohistochemistry; mRNA of Caspase-3 is tested by means of PCR. MTT test indicates that curcumin can inhibit human gastric carcinoma BGC-823 cell proliferation, showing concentration dependency; flow cytometry shows that curcumin can effectively induce apoptosis, showing concentration dependency, where the apoptosis rate is 48.3% 24 hours after 20 mg/L curcumin is treated; immunohistochemistry test shows that curcumin treatment enables Bax expression level in human gastric carcinoma BGC-823 cells to go up, meanwhile, the Bcl-2 protein expression level to go down, besides, the mRNA expression level of Caspase-3 in cells increases through induction of curcumin. Curcumin has obvious inhibitory effect on human gastric carcinoma BGC-823 cell proliferation, showing concentration dependency to promote apoptosis. Such biological effect may be associated with activating Caspase-3 signal channel by activating Bax protein expression and inhibiting Bcl-2 protein. This study lays an important foundation for further discussing the mechanism of curcumin in inducing human gastric carcinoma BGC-823 apoptosis.

To observe the effects and mechanisms of Pongamia pinnata root flavonoids (PRF) on the experimental gastric ulcer induced by acetic acid and to study the mechanism of PRF on the quality of ulcer healing. The models were established by acetic acid erosion, the quality of ulcer healing of PRF on the model of gastric ulcer were observed. The contents of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in serum were determined by radioimmunoassay. The expression of EGF and transforming growth factor-alpha (TGF-alpha) were detected by immunohistochemistry (SP). PRF significantly inhibited ulcerative formation induced by acetic acid (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). PRF could significantly increase the EGF and TGF-alpha (P < 0.05, P < 0.01) expression of para-ulcer mucosa tissue and improve the EGF contents in blood serum (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). PRF increases the contents of EGF in serum and the expression of EGF and TGF-alpha in the tissue around gastric ulcer which might be one of possible mechanisms that PRF improves quality of ulcer healing.

A novel compound of 9-[3-oxo-1-(4-bromopheny)-3-phenypropyl]fluorine (3) was synthesized via nucleophilic addition reaction under solvent-free condition. Its structure was determined by IR, 1H NMR, MS, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction. The crystal of the new compound is of triclinic system, space group P -1 with a = 9.7919(16), b = 11.0932(18), c = 11.2534(19) Å , α = 76.927(3), β = 67.452(3), γ = 84.895(3)°, V = 1099.7(3) Å 3, Z = 2, D c = 1.369 g/cm 3, μ = 1.886 mm -1, F(000) = 464, R = 0.0586 and wR = 0.1562 for 3145 observed reflections with I > 2 (I). π-π Stacking interactions contribute to the stability of the structure.

To study the the protective effects and mechanism of Shenfu injection on the global cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury of rats. Divided 40 SD male rats into 4 groups randomly (n = 10): sham operation group, model control group, nimodipine group( 30 mg/kg) and Shenfu injection group (10 mg/kg). Made global cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury model (CI/R) by adopting Pulsinelli's Four Arterial Acclusion method,and then practised administration three times, respectively one day before the surgery, one hour before the surgery and 30 minutes before reperfusion. Finally, measured the contents of brain tissue glutamate (Glu), aspartic acid (Asp) and Glycine (Gly) by means of High Performance Liquid Chromatography, the content of Ca2+ by means of Atomic absorption spectrophotometry, the brain water content by means of wet and dry weight, the activity of brain tissue superoxide dismutase (SOD) and content of malondialdehyde (MDA) by means of chemical colorimetry. Compared with the sham operation group, the contents of Glu, Ca2+, MDA and water in the brains of CI/R model group rats increased remarkably (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), while the activity of SOD decreased apparently (P < 0.05); Shenfu injection could significantly decrease the contents of Glu, Ca2+ and water (P < 0.05, P < 0.01) in brain tissue and remarkably increased the activity if SOD and the ration of SOD/MDA (P < 0.05). The mechanism of Shenfu injection preventing cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury is relevant to excitatory amino acid toxicity reduction, Ca2+ overload blockage and antioxidant capacity improvement.

A mesoporous TiO 2 (meso-TiO 2) was synthesized, and used to prepare modified carbon paste electrode (CPE). The electrochemical sensing properties were characterized using K 3[Fe(CN) 6], showing that meso-TiO 2 modified CPE possesses larger surface area and higher electron transfer rate. The electrochemical behavior of p-cresol was investigated. At the meso-TiO 2 modified CPE, the oxidation peak current of p-cresol remarkably increases, and the oxidation peak potential shifts negatively, suggesting that meso- TiO 2 exhibits highly efficient catalytic activity to the oxidation of p-cresol. Based on this, a sensitive, rapid and convenient electrochemical method was developed for the detection of p-cresol. The linear range is from 1.5 × 10 -7 and 2.0 × 10 -5 mol l -1, and the limit of detection is as low as 8.0 × 10 -8 mol l -1. Finally, the new method was successfully used to determine p-cresol in water samples. © 2011 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

To study the effects of Enshi green tea tea polysaccharide on serum glucose in experimental diabetic rats. Diabetic rats model were established by alloxan, Enshi green tea tea polysaccharide was poured into rats' stomach for four weeks, then the changes of the level about fasting blood glucose (FBG), glucokinase (GK), insulin (INS), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), spleen index and thymus index were observed. Enshi green tea tea polysaccharide could reduce the level of FBG in diabetic rats, and increase the activity of KG, SOD and GSH-Px, moreover, it could reduce the level of MDA and increase the spleen index and thymus index. Enshi green tea tea polysaccharide has remarkable effect on playing down the blood sugar, and can increase the antioxygenic activity and immunity.
