The electrochemical reduction of sunset yellow at a multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)-modified glassy carbon electrode is investigated using cyclic voltammetry. A simple, sensitive, and inexpensive method for determination of sunset yellow in soft drinks is proposed and the accuracy and reproducibility of this determination method are evaluated. This method is satisfactorily applied for the determination of sunset yellow in soft drinks in the concentration range of 1.2-125.0 mg L -1 and 125.0-265.0 mg L -1, with a detection limit of 0.5 mg L -1. A protocol for remotely preparing a four-particle entangled cluster-type state by a set of new four-particle orthogonal basis projective measurement. It is secure that the entangled four-particle cluster-type state can be successfully realized at Bob place. Moreover we have also investigated that quantum channel shared by Alice and Bob is composed of four non-maximally entangled states. It is shown that Bob can also reestablish the original state (to be prepared remotely) with certain probability by means of appropriate unitary transformation. © 2010 Elsevier B.V. Recently Liu et al. (EPL, 87 (2009) 30006) have proposed two new schemes for probabilistically preparing arbitrary two- and three-qubit states with complex coefficients based on two- and three-qubit projective measurement, respectively. In this letter, we present a possible improvement of the successful probability for their schemes. For this purpose, we put forward two novel schemes for remote preparation of arbitrary two- and three-qubit states with complex coefficients via two and three GHZ states as the quantum channel, respectively. To complete the schemes, two novel unitary operations have been introduced. Compared with the previous schemes, the advantage of our schemes is that the total successful probability can reach 100%. In this paper, we propose and investigate a stochastic two-prey one-predator model. Firstly, under some simple assumptions, we show that for each species x i, i=1,2,3, there is a π i which is represented by the coefficients of the model. If π i <1, then x i goes to extinction (i.e., lim t→+∞ x i (t)=0); if π i >1, then x i is stable in the mean (i.e., limt→+∞t-1 ∫0 txi(s), ds=a positive constant). Secondly, we prove that there is a stationary distribution to this model and it has the ergodic property. Thirdly, we establish the sufficient conditions for global asymptotic stability of the positive solution.
