In this paper, using different afforesting tree species to improve physical and chemical soil properties and soil fertility, in combination with physical and chemical properties, fertility of soil, growing of green trees, and the improvement of the root zone soil in Huainan reclamation area, we have resulted that poplar, Prunus cerasifera, Prunus persica, Osmnthus fragrans and Cedrus deodara grow well in the reclamation area, and their foliages are lush. Moreover, because of well-developed root systems, soil improvement is more obvious, and their contribution is big. We could consider them as the advantageous tree species in the reclamation area.

Radio wave penetration by the device of one-transmitter and two-receiver was put forward to explore the geological structures within a coal face. Fixed point surveying mode was adopted. While the transmitter was fixed in a design point to transmit electromagnetic wave in one gateway, two receivers were used to receive the signals in the other gateway, each of them covering half of the designed acceptance range. The design points were surveyed in turn along two gateways. At the open-off cut, the transmitter and receivers were exchanged, and then, went on surveying until all of the design points finished. Through the selection and modulation of the radio wave penetration meter and the development of new electromagnetic wave processing software, the new surveying method was used to detect the geological structures within coal face. The test in the coal face of Xieqiao Mine, Huainan Coal Mining Group Corporation, demonstrates that the measured field strength values with two receivers do not show apparently systemic differences, and main geological anomalies locations are accordant among the curves of field strength values, the image of field strength values and the image of electromagnetic wave absorption coefficient, which is well testified by the latter coal production. Therefore, the radio wave penetration by the device of one-transmitter and two-receivers can be successfully adopted to probe the geological structures within coal face.
