An experiment was conducted as pot culture under polyhouse and in open condition at the Horticultural college and Research Institute, Periyakulam to elucidate information on mean performance of twenty four tomato genotypes and also association of yield characters for two seasons. The results showed that the hybrid Realeza raised under polyhouse exhibited better performance than those under open condition for all the quantitative characters except number of days to first flowering which was observed in NS6666. The influence of season and condition over the performance of genotypes for yield were assessed and it was found superior in Season I under poly house condition. Source
