For this reason, the invention disclosed in the present application includes a power supply control unit that includes a detection terminal and controls a power supply from a power source to a driving circuit, a push switch that can be operated by a user, and a signal generation unit that operates with a power supplied from the power source. The push switch can change a voltage to be applied to the detection terminal according to an operation performed by the user. The signal generation unit outputs a detection signal to be applied to the detection terminal, and stops the output of the detection signal when the voltage of the detection terminal satisfies a predetermined condition. The power supply control unit controls the power supply by detecting that the push switch is operated and the detection signal is stopped on the basis of a change in the voltage applied to the detection terminal, thereby switching an operation mode of a device between at least two modes of a normal operation mode and a sleep mode.
