Transfer behavior of supported Rh catalyst during methanol carbonylation process was investigated and the mechanistic model was established. Rh species leaching and redispersion can be interpreted through this model. Supported Rh catalyst was tested for 50 h and the leaching of Rh species was detected in the liquid product. The dispersion state of Rh catalyst was characterized by XPS and TEM. The information is discussed relevant to transfer behavior of supported Rh species.

Acetic acid production process by methanol carbonylic synthesis under low pressure is introduced, the control difficulty in the actual production process and its solution is analyzed. The control method is successfully applied in Henan shunda Chemical Technology Co. Ltd. with acetic acid production capacity of 200 kt/a.

Triazine based functional polymer was synthesized through condensation of cyanuric chloride and ethylenediamine. The polymer possesses a large number of nitrogen atoms, so it can form complexes with transition metals. The polymer and its Fe complex were characterized by TEM, IR, XRD and XPS. The polymer can catalyze cyclohexene oxidation with molecular oxygen. Its catalytic performance is enhanced after coordinating with metals. The effects of transition metals, reaction temperature and reaction time on the oxidation of cyclohexene were also studied.
