In order to discuss further dynamic law of gas emission from borehole, coal bed simulator and measuring device of gas emission velocity during drilling process were devised, experimental schemes were prepared according to homogeneous design method, and simulation test were carried out using dynamic testing technique in laboratory. The research results show that dynamic testing technique can successfully achieve the biggest initial velocity rate which appears in initial 5 s during test process and augments with augmentation of gas adsorption pressure, the trend reflects change law of coal and gas outburst criticality.

Standard K-ε three dimensional turbulent model of eulerian solid-liquid two phases flow theory was used to analyze flushing process of boring mud in floor anchoring bore with small hole diameter and the effect of deslagging under different conditions. Related theory was used to calculate the pressure loss, which was compared with numerical analysis results with marginal errors. Range analysis was used to assess the influence magnitude of various factors, which from high to low is: Pressure of deslagging channel, Diameter of flushing ports, Length of machine, Pressure of flushing ports, Diameter of deslagging channel. For floor anchoring hole diameter in 28 mm and borehole depth L=4 m, the most suitable parameters of deslagging system are: Pressure of deslagging channel -3.0 MPa, Diameter of flushing ports 4 mm, Pressure of flushing ports 5.0 MPa and Diameter of deslagging channel 8 mm.

At the requirements of high yield and high efficiency for the fully mechanized coal face, a integrated system with CAN bus, Modbus protocol and iFIX software based on the high point number and large capacity industry field-bus technology has been researched, which can realize the monitoring of all devices at the coal face, the remote communication between the ground and the underground, as well as the WEB remote publishing. Here the device node distribution, loop network configuration, remote communication technology, Modbus protocol and the configuration of iFIX are given out. The practice results verify that this kind of monitoring system can effectively come true the automation and informatization for the fully mechanized coal face. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

Appropriate water control measures were studied to prevent Limestone Water-inrush from Coal Floor Fissures. Based on the hydrogeological conditions and coal floor limestone fissures of Yongcheng coal mine area, the characteristics of water-inrush were analyzed and summarized. Water-rich area was detected by seismic impedance inversion and underground transient electromagnetic method (TEM), and then we carried out the grouting reconstruction project on the local coal floor delineated by these methods. This water control measures showed good effects. The result shows that L8 limestone of the Taiyuan Formation is the main origin-water, which is about 80m away from the 2-2 main coal seam floor. The water-inrush from coal floor is closely related with fissure. According to the situation of fissure, water-inrush in Yongcheng coal mine area can be classified into three categories: water-inrush through open fissure, water-inrush through closed and re-open fissure, and water-inrush through growing fissures. Water-rich areas identification and fissure-channel plugging are the key point of water control. The relationship between porosity and acoustic impedance constructed by Willie average equation shows the porosity value decreases monotonously with increasing acoustic impedance, and the limestone water-bearing capability can be analyzed macroscopically by impedance inversion. The limestone water-rich area can be analyzed effectively and locally by TEM according to the low resistance of water-rich region. In the water-rich region, grouting boreholes are laid uniformly in a certain way, but also selectively on some of the floor reinforcement position. Integrated control techniques in this paper put an end to water-inrush from the coal floor limestone fissures in Yongcheng, and enrich the mine water control techniques. © Atlantis Press, 2010.

In deep mining, the effective roadway support is an important factor to ensure the safety mining, high production and efficiency. Based on the similarity simulation test and the field test, the fracture characters of the horizontal roadway are studied, which is located in deep tiled strata in Coal Mine No.8 of Hebi Coal Power Ltd.. The law of displacement of roadway, under different applying loads, and the characteristics of development of fracture in roadway and distributions are analyzed. For this geological condition, the more effective support plan is figured out. The study result can be used for understanding the occurrence, development and relationship of the surface of roadway and interior cracks. Based on the results, the support parameters of the roadway can be chosen reasonably. The study methods and results can be used as reference for other similar studies as well.
