Objective: This study was designed to screen the fungicides for controlling pathogens of persimmon anthracnose by laboratory and field test. Method: 4 representative persimmon anthracnose strains collected from Qingzhou of Shandong Province, Gongcheng of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Luanchuan of Henan Province and Fuping of Shanxi Province, were selected as the trial materials. By comparing the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) value and the concentration for 50% of maximal effect (EC50) value of 22 kinds of fungicides belonging to 10 categories to decide the inhibition activity of each fungicide. 5 kinds of fungicide were finally selected to conduct field trials. Result: The results show that: benzimidazole, demethylation inhibitor and benzene-pyrrole acted better, the MIC values were below 10 μg·mL-1, and the EC50 within the scope of 0.011 2-0.520 3 μg·mL-1. Field trials demonstrated that the inhibition efficacy of 30% difenoconazole WG (1500×), 240 g·L-1 thifluzamide SC (2000×), 240 g·L-1 pyraclostrobine SC (1000×), 25% prochloraz EC (2000×), 25 g·L-1 fludioxonil SC (1000×) were between 18.72%-47.76% when investigated 10 days after the fourth spraying. Conclusion: The speed of onset and final control effect of fludioxonil and prochloraz were better than the other three kinds of fungicides. © 2017, Chinese Academy of Forestry. All right reserved.

Persimmon is highly localized in Pingdingshan region, central China which is abundant in cultivar resources, various processing and utilization, and long time of persimmon supply. The fruit culture and resource utilization of persimmon are similar to the original planting method which makes it vary a lot between cultivars in this region. The preliminary survey suggests that there are 42 cultivars or types in this region, 19 of them are fine cultivars which have unique advantages and condition to develop cultivar breeding selection, good gene research, resource development and utilization.

This study was carried out to observe the effects of refrigerated storage and freezing point storage on the healthy fruit ratio, fruit appearance, flesh flavor and firmness of 11 astringent persimmon cultivars. The results showed that, under refrigerated storage, 'Mopan' persimmon, 'Xiaoshi' and No.1 persimmon were the most storable, and the next were 'Dashi', 'Shuishi', however, 'Xiaoniuxin' persimmon, 'Gaishi', 'Huoshi' and 'Huishi' showed poor storage property. Among the 11 tested cultivars, 4 cultivars were more appropriate for controlled freezing.

The persimmon (Diospyros kaki L.) is native to China, with a long cultivation history and rich resource types. Persimmon trees in China grow from the north to the south because of their strong adaptability. The Chinese persimmon trees live in complex habitat, and the cultivation and management are relatively extensive, so diseases are quite common. The main diseases on Chinese persimmon trees include persimmon anthracnose, persimmon cercospora leaf spot, persimmon circular leaf spot, persimmon powdery mildew, persimmon madness and so on. This paper introduces the main diseases above mentioned, including pathogenic characteristics and symptoms, pathogen, epidemicity, and finally some integrated control strategy is discussed.

As one of the three major persimmon producing areas in China, more than 550,000 mu (about 36,667 hectare) persimmon are cultivated in Henan Province. And the production of persimmon is 140,000 t per year, mainly in Luoyang, Nanyang, Anyang, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo and Pingdingshan City. We investigated the persimmon resources, processed products development and some Japanese pollination-constant non-astringent (PCNA) persimmon cultivars which have been introduced into Henan Province in recent years. The main problems including variants are complex, production instability, lack of intensification cultivation, scattered planting, imperfect marketing system, not-yet-become industrialization development, insufficient persimmon storage and deep processing. 'Jinshi', 'Xin'an-niuxinshi', 'Boaibayuehuang' and 'Xingyangshuishi' are the representative astringent persimmon cltivars in Henan Province.

Preservative agents and package materials of MAP have influence on persimmon storage. Studies were carried out to compare some prepared preservative agents on the persimmon fruits storage at room temperature and refrigerated storage. Persimmon fruits were packed in 4 kinds of plastic bags stored in a refrigerator at 5°C. The result showed that some treatments of preservative solution could prolong 'Xin' an-niuxinshi' persimmon storage life as long as 40 d at room temperature. GA3, active carbon support ethylene absorbers and ethylene glycol and glycerin mixture showed significant influence at refrigerated temperature. It also showed perforated HDPE was better for persimmon package compared with non-perforated LDPE, 0.04 mm non-perforated HDPE and 0.02 mm non-perforated HDPE.

The micro/nanofibrils of poplar could be prepared by treatment of ultrasonic. The properties of micro/nanofibrils were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The results indicated that poplar micro/nanofibril was the same as raw fiber in chemical compositions and crystal structure. The crystallinity of micro/nanofibrils was 84.99 percent, increased by 20 percent compared to original fiber after ultrasonic crushing. The micro/nanofibril diameter was from 50 nm to 1 μm.The internal bond strength (IB) of wheat-straw fiberboard could be significantly improved by adding poplar micro/nanofibril suspension to the urea formaldehyde resin adhesive(UF),when the adding amount of poplar micro/nanofibril suspension was 15wt percent, the IB of wheat-straw fiberboard was up to 0.86 MPa. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Measured the cover soil water content in soil layer 0~30cm of different agroforestry landscape types in Jinghe river with TDR, the landscape types including sloping cropland, apple orchard, apple-clover system, land under forest and grass changed from grain crop and black locust forest. Analyze the distribution characteristic and spatiotemporal variability of the cover soil water. The result showed that the soil water has renewed in a certain extent after a rain period in 1.5 m soil profile; the soil water content is gradually increased from the top of to the bottom of the slope under the affection of the slope location and plant category. The theory model of semivariogram for cover soil water content before rain season and after season, the value of nugget is changed no obviously, and they are 0.25 and 0.30; ranges is 99.7 m and 87.6 m. And the results indicated that soil moisture exhibited high fractal dimensions and clear spatial autocorrelation. The fractal dimensions are 1.71 and 1.74, variogram is main autocorrelation. During rain season the theory semivariogram model is linear, the spatiotemporal variability of soil water content becomes higher with the increase in distance, and its fractal dimension is 1.40. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilization and Environmental Effects | Year: 2016

In this article, the shrub residues as raw materials were produced to fast pyrolysis oil (called bio-oil) in a 5-kg/h fluidized-bed reactor. The optimum conditions were obtained at 500°C, flow rate of fluidizing gas of 4 m3/h, and feed rate of 3 kg/h. The liquid yield was up to 60% at the optimum conditions. The bio-oil was easy to divide into two phases: oil phase and aqueous phase. The high heat value of the oil phase was up to 18.55 MJ/kg, but the high heat value of the aqueous phase was only 0.72 MJ/kg. The oil phase and aqueous phase both have lower pH values. The oxygen content was up to 50%, while the sulfur and nitrogen content were very low. Owing to the higher oxygen content and lower pH value in liquid products, it must be further upgraded to bio-oil before application. © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

The test studied three ways of modification effect for ramie fiber, included PVC coated, MMA graft and silane coupling. Also the diverse factors for modification were explored under the situations of hydrophilicity, biodegradability and parasitotropism. The results showed that: All modified ways for KH-570 silane coupling, PVC coated, and MMA graft could reduce bibulous rate of ramie fiber effectively, which PVC coated was best (10.42%), while bibulous rate of MMA graft was 10.56%. Both of all were lower than the bibulous rate of unmodified (4-5%). Then soaked in conditions of distilled water, anaerobic sludge and anaerobic sludge, the mass loss unmodified were largest, loss of minimum were MMA grafting, MMA grafting and KH-570 coupling, with the mass loss rate were 11.67%, 21.23% and 22.73%,respectively. With the situation of high salt concentration, the modified fiber degraded significantly that all of the degradation rate were lower than 8%. The biological properties of ramie fiber were effectively enhanced by modification way of MMA grafted, in aspects of hydrophilicity, biodegradability. Under the condition of MMA grafting, microbial growth and purifying effect, the service life of the fiber was prolonged efficacious. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
