The aim of the present study was to examine the effect of selenium (Se) deficiency on the expression of selenoproteins in chicken muscular stomach and to detect the correlation of selenoproteins with muscular stomach injuries. One-day-old broiler chickens were maintained for 55 days on a normal diet (0.2 mg/kg) or a Se-deficient diet (0.033 mg Se/kg). The expression levels of 25 selenoproteins, heat shock proteins (HSPs), and inflammatory factors were then examined by real-time PCR. Following this, the correlation between selenoproteins, HSPs, and inflammatory factors was analyzed by principal component analysis (PCA). The results showed that Se deficiency decreased the expression of 25 selenoproteins (P < 0.05), but increased the expression of HSP27, HSP40, HSP60, HSP70, and HSP90, and NF-κB, iNOS, TNF-α, COX-2, and HO-1 (P < 0.05). Selenoproteins showed a high negative correlation with HSPs and inflammatory factors. Thus, the results suggested that Se deficiency induced muscular stomach injuries by decreasing the expression of selenoproteins. In addition, selenoproteins play an important role in regulating HSPs and inflammatory response. The muscular stomach is a key target of Se deficiency and may play a special role in response to Se deficiency. © 2017 Springer Science+Business Media New York

The stabilization of differential inclusions with Markovian jumping is discussed. A kind of uncertain Markovian jumping systems are modeled as differential inclusions with Markovian jumping. Based on the convex hull Lyapunov function, a kind of stochastical Lyapunov function is presented. The feedback control law is obtained to make the closed-loop system exponentially stable in the mean square. Finally, a simulation is given to show the effectiveness of this control design. © 2014 TCCT, CAA.

This paper discourses the method to improve steam temperature and analyses the feasibility to increase steam temperature in the existing saturated steam boiler. The retrofit scheme aimed at a superheater installed on SHL6.5-1.29-A?type boiler is elaborated including the investigation of installation location and structure of the superheater. In addition, the test results before and after boiler transformation are compared, by analysing the energy saving effect, the problems needing attention in transformation and operation management measures are put forward and the technology promotion field is indicated. The practical basis on boiler transformation and energy saving for enterprise are also provided.

Based on a principal-agent model, the motivations of China's listed companies to have political connections are analyzed using Game Theory. The internal mechanism of the motivation is also demonstrated, that is, the performance of senior executives is directly exposed to the influence of political connections. When government resources are used for a trade, whether openly or covertly, the agent will perceive the political contact as a "high-speed channel" through which the contact will turn into a large profit; when the agent improves his performance and gains profit through political ties and the listed company gains profit and improves the company's value, the agent's work enthusiasm is reduced due to the political contact; thus the agent's working efficiency is decreased, which may erode the value of the listed company. © 2013 by Binary Information Press.

Remote sensing classification, as an important means of urban planning and construction, has been widely concerned. Urban land use classification is extremely challenging tasks because of some land covers are spectrally too similar to be separated using only the spectral information of remote sensing image. Object-oriented remote sensing image classification method overcomes the drawbacks of traditional pixel-based classification method. It combines the spectral, special structure and texture features of the images, can effectively avoid the phenomenon of "different objects share the same spectrum" or "the same objects differ in spectrum". Support Vector Machine (SVM) is an excellent tool for remote sensing classification. Combination of both can develop their own advantages to do high-resolution remote sensing image classification. Using a public image in Harbin city as an example, classification based on object-oriented method and SVM has achieved better results than traditional pixel-based classification method. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This paper proposes a novel approach to evaluate development level of regional industrial economic. To promote the performance of the original neural network, we present a hybrid neural networks model based on a fuzzy regression model, and then apply this model in regional industrial development level evaluating. The proposed algorithm is made up of three steps, which are (1) Training a network by the data from observations, and output the optimum solution, (2) Determining the minimal fuzziness, (3) The data of the proposed model around upper bound and lower bound are pruned. Experimental results show that our method is effective in regional industrial economic development level evaluating, and the performance of our algorithm in just close to the ground truth. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2014.

This paper briefly introduced the structure of DHN type saturated steam boiler, and taking the DHN-type saturated steam boiler as an example, the modification scheme to meet the needs of the production process steam was presented by improving the boiler steam temperature, neither changing the structure of boiler pressure parts nor increasing the operating pressure, and the main parameters of the before and after modification were tested, it achieved good economic benefit through the practical operation and provided the theoretical basis for the transformation of small steam boiler. © 2015 The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The electronic structure of a novel inorganic (8, 8) MoS2 nanotube nanocable, (VBz)n@MoS2NT, (where Bz refers as C6H6), is investigated using density functional theory. Transport property calculations are further performed employing non-equilibrium Green's function methods by modeling a two-probe device with a finite-sized nanocable sandwiched between two electrodes of its own. It is found that the transport properties of the nanocable agree well with its electronic structure. The core (VBz)n nanowire in the (VBz)n@MoS2NT plays a significant role in electron transportation, meanwhile, the sheath MoS2NT also participates in electron transportation. This phenomenon is different from those of (VBz)n@CNT and (VBz)n@BNNT nanocables. For the (VBz)n@CNT, the transport properties are majorly dominated by the metallic CNT sheath, while for the (VBz)n@BNNT, it is merely decided by the core (VBz)n. The conductivity of the (VBz)n@MoS2NT is slightly better in comparison with pure (VBz)n. Similar to pure (VBz)n, the (VBz)n@MoS2NT shows spin-polarized transport properties: The spin-down state gives a higher conductivity than the spin-up state. The values of the spin filter efficiency of the (VBz)n@MoS2NT can be up to >80%, indicating it to be a good candidate for spin filters. In addition, it is also found that encapsulating (VBz)n into the MoS2NT could introduce magnetism. More importantly, the ferromagnetic (VBz)n@MoS2NT is thermally rather stable. Therefore, encapsulating (VBz)n into the MoS2NT can effectively tune the electronic and transport properties for exploring novel functional nanodevices. © 2016 the Owner Societies.
