An unusual tetrazole-based Cd(II) coordination polymer, [Cd(4-tzba)(H2O)]n (tzba = 4-(tetrazolyl)benzenecarboxylic acid) (1), was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of 1 contains distorted octahedral cadmium centers coordinated by four different tzba2- ligands and a water molecule. All the tzba2- ligands display coordination of type, μ4-κN1:κN3:κN4:κO1, O2, which connects four Cd(II) atoms to form an intricate 3-D network. There are three kinds of apertures in the structure of 1; two helical channels and a hexagonal aperture are observed along different axes. Polymer 1 exhibits selective gas adsorption behavior for methanol, ethanol and water. In addition, 1 shows blue photoluminescence mainly arising from intraligand transitions of the aromatic rings in the tbza2- ligand. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

The electrochemical behavior and electrochemical determination of carbamazepine (CBZ) at a hydrophobic ionic liquid 1-benzyl-3-methylimidazole hexafluorophosphate ([BnMIM]PF 6) modified carbon paste electrode ([BnMIM]PF 6/CPE) in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) were investigated. A well-defined and sensitive oxidation peak was observed at the [BnMIM]PF 6/CPE in the presence of SDS and a 0.10 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.80). The oxidation peak current of CBZ increased significantly at the [BnMIM]PF 6/CPE in the presence of SDS compared with that in the absence of SDS at the carbon paste electrode. It suggested that both SDS and [BnMIM]PF 6/CPE show an obvious enhancing effect on the electrochemical oxidation of CBZ. The electrochemical kinetic parameters for CBZ at the [BnMIM]PF 6/CPE in aqueous SDS solutions were also determined by chronocoulometry and chronoamperometry. Finally, the experimental conditions were optimized, and a new electrochemical method for the determination for CBZ was established. The oxidation peak current was linearly dependent on the CBZ concentration in the range 7.0 μM to 0.7 mM, with a detection limit of 0.98 μM (signal to noise ratio, S/N = 3). The relative standard deviation for six determinations of 0.10 mM CBZ was between 1.40 and 2.13 %. The proposed method was applied in the determination of CBZ in commercial tablet samples. © 2012 Copyright (CC) SCS.

In this paper, two novel image feature extraction algorithms base on Directional Filter Banks are proposed, which are named Single Directional Two-Dimensional Linear Discriminant Analysis (SD2DLDA) and Multiple Directional Two-Dimensional Linear Discriminant Analysis (MD2DLDA). The SD2DLDA takes least running time while achieves high recognition rate and the MD2DLDA can get the higher recognition rate than other popular algorithms. Experimental results confirm the advantages of SD2DLDA and MD2DLDA. © 2012 IEEE.

The electrochemical behavior of tiamulin fumarate (TF) at ionic liquid N-Butylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate (BPPF6) modified carbon paste electrode (BPPF6/CPE) was investigated and further used for tiamulin fumarate sample determination. BPPF6/CPE showed an enhanced electrochemical response towards the electrochemical oxidation of TF. A well-defined and sensitive oxidation peak was observed at BPPF6/CPE in 0.10 M phosphate buffer solution (PBS, pH = 6.80). The oxidation peak current of TF increased significantly at BPPF6/CPE compared with that at carbon paste electrode and the BPPF6/CPE was characterized by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). At the same time, the electrochemical kinetics parameters of TF on the BPPF6/CPE were evaluated. Under the optimized conditions, the oxidation peak currents were linearly dependent on the concentration of TF in the range of 0.3-9.0 μM and 9.0-0.3 mM, with a detection limit of 0.16 μM (S/N = 3). The proposed method has been successfully applied in the electrochemical quantitative determination of TF content in commercial injection samples.

P.E. teaching evaluation system is an important mean and method to measure the general proficiency of P.E. teachers teaching profession. Traditional evaluation method is highly influenced by subjective factors and is not able to reflect teachers' practical level factually. This study builds a P.E. teaching evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process. The results show that the weight of teaching effect, teaching method and teaching attitude are 0.21, 0.20 and 0.20 accordingly, and these three factors have the greatest impact on the result of P.E. teaching evaluation while teaching content and scientific research have a less impact (the weights are 0.12 and 0.10). It is verified through an example that the P.E. teaching evaluation result based on analytic hierarchy process is reasonable and in accordance with P.E. teaching laws. In conclusion, it is suggested that this evaluation model can be popularized and applied in P.E. teaching evaluation. © 2005 - 2013 JATIT & LLS. All rights reserved.
