The aim of this study was to investigate the chemical differences between genuine Inula britannica L. (I. britannica) and substitute specimens. A linear ion trap LC-MS/MS analytical method has been developed for the identification and quantification of 15 major components from I. britannica. Data acquisition was performed in multiple-reaction-monitoring transitions mode followed by an information-dependent acquisition using the enhanced product ion (EPI) scan in one run. The target compounds were further identified and confirmed using an EPI spectral library. The determination results of 45 batches of samples were then analysed and classified by principal component analysis (PCA). The content of 11 components could be used to distinguish the two official Flos Inulae species (I. britannica and Inula japonica) from unofficial species (Inula hupehensis), and the content of 3 components could be used to differentiate the two official species. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. A enantioselective reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the enantiomeric resolution of safinamide mesilate, 2(S)-[4-(3-fluorobenzyloxy)benzylamino] propionamide methanesulfonate, a neuroprotectant with antiparkinsonian and anticonvulsant activity for the treatment of Parkinson disease. The enantiomers of safinamide mesilate were baseline resolved on a Chiralcel OD-RH (150. mm × 4.6. mm, 5 μm) column using a mobile phase system containing 300. mM sodium di-hydrogen phosphate buffer (pH 3.0):methanol:acetonitrile (65:25:10, v/v/v). The resolution between the enantiomers was not less than 3.0. The pH value of buffer solution in the mobile phase has played a key role in enhancing chromatographic efficiency and resolution between the enantiomers. The developed method was validated and proved to be robust. The limit of detection and limit of quantification of (R)-enantiomer were found to be 15 and 50. ng/mL, respectively, for 20 μL injection volume. The percentage recovery of (R)-enantiomer was ranged from 94.2 to 103.7 in bulk drug samples of safinamide mesilate. The sample solution and mobile phase were found to be stable at least for 48. h. The final optimized method was successfully applied to separate (R)-enantiomer from safinamide mesilate and was proven to be reproducible and accurate for the quantitative determination of (R)-enantiomer in bulk drugs. © 2010 Elsevier B.V.

A normal-phase enantioselective high-performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the enantiomeric resolution of naproxcinod, the most advanced cyclooxygenaseinhibiting nitric oxide donator of anti-inflammatory drugs designed for treatment of osteoarthritis. The enantiomers of naproxcinod were resolved on a Chiralpak AD-H (250 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) column using a mobile phase system containing n-hexane and 2-propanol (95:5, v/v). The resolution between the enantiomers was found to be more than 2.0. The limit of detection and limit of quantitation of (R)-enantiomer were found to be 5 and 15 ng/mL, respectively, for 20 μL injection volume. The sample solution and mobile phase were found to be stable for at least 48 h. The final optimized method was successfully applied to separate (R)-enantiomer from naproxcinod and was proven to be reproducible and accurate for the quantitative determination of (R)-enantiomer in bulk drugs.

A high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was established for the enantiomeric separation of azelnidipine. Baseline chiral separation of azelnidipine was achieved under normal-phase chromatographic mode using the Chiralpak AD-H chiral column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5.0 μm, Daicel). The influences of the nature of chiral stationary phase, form of the mobile phase, and column temperature on the enantiomeric separation were studied. The, optimized chromatographic conditions were hexane-isopropyl alcohol (90:10, v/v) as the mobile phase with a flow rate of 0.8 mL/min and detection at the wavelength of 254 nm. The column temperature was set at 20 °C. The resolution of 3.3 for azelnidipine was achieved under the above chromatographic conditions. The method is simple, rapid and with good reproducibility.

With the wide use of internet and we-media, the process of emergency treatment of government developed into the process of information transmission and the game of the stakeholders. Firstly, the formation of this process has been demonstrated. Then from the perspective of government we analyzed the constitution of game, the types and the interest demands of stakeholders. And then from the perspective of the game we analyzed the emergency behavior and the profit of the government. The game model was constructed based on the transmission of information, so as to provide a reasonable explanation for the emergence disposal of government. This paper is aimed at the situation that the discharge amount of chemical industry wastes is raising rapidly and its treatment is extremely difficult. The advantages and disadvantages of common treatment methods are discussed, and the incineration method has obvious supremacy. The structure of cascade reciprocating incinerator is analyzed, and the burning process is thermodynamically analyzed and optimized by the parameter calculation of grate area, incinerator body height and heat preservation performance of incinerator brickwork. It is concluded that the optimization design of grate can intensify the burning process of wastes and the pollution can be controlled and even eliminated. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
