In this work, the B-doped Si rich oxide (SRO) thin films were deposited and then annealed using rapid thermal annealing (RTA) to form SiO2-matrix silicon nanocrystals (Si NCs). The effects of the RTA temperatures on the structural properties, conduction mechanisms and electrical properties of B-doped SRO thin films (BSF) were investigated systematically using Hall measurements, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Results showed that the crystalline fraction of annealed BSF increased from 41.3% to 62.8%, the conductivity was increased from 4.48×10-3 S/cm to 0.16 s/cm, the carrier concentration was increased from 8.74×1017 cm-3 to 4.9×1018 cm-3 and the carrier mobility was increased from 0.032 cm2 V-1 s-1 to 0.2 cm2 V-1 s-1 when the RTA temperatures increased from 1050 °C to 1150 °C. In addition, the fluctuation induced tunneling (FIT) theory was applicable to the conduction mechanisms of SiO2-matrix boron-doped Si-NC thin films. © 2016 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

In this work, the various chemical stoichiometry (O/Si ratios) of silicon-rich SiO2 (SRO) thin filmswere deposited and then annealed by rapid thermal annealing (RTA) to form SiO2-matrix silicon nanocrystals (Si-NCs). The effects of the O/Si ratios on the structural properties of SRO thin films were investigated systematically using Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Results showed that the micro-structure of as-deposited SRO thin films with higher O/Si ratios hindered formation of Si-Si4 clusters, Si clusters and Si rings, then hindered the phase separation and the crystallization of annealed thin films. When the O/Si ratios was increased from 0.7 to 1.5, the crystalline temperature was increased from 900 °C to 1000 °C, the crystalline fraction of the 1000 °C-annealed thin films was reduced from 39.4% to 22.7%, the average Si-NC size was reduced from 3.8 nm to 3 nm, and the residual stress was increased from 1.9 GPa to 2.8 GPa, respectively. The changes in micro-structure were most possibly due to the fact that the different amount of Si-O bonds in the as-deposited thin films with various O/Si ratios. © 2015 Published by Elsevier B.V. In mobile communication it is necessary to remove acoustic echo. Most acoustic echo cancellation algorithms are sensitive to double-talk. Recursive prediction error (RPE) algorithm is one of the best solutions to such problem. However integrating the algorithm into headsets is a challenging task due to conversion from floating-point to fixed-point. To address this problem, the simplification approach and fixed-point implementation are proposed. Simulation results validate the simplification and its fixed-point implementation. © 2011 IEEE.

To improve the yield and quality of L-lactic acid by Rhizopus oryzae, we aim to understand the relationship between inorganic salts utilization and the L-lactic acid metabolism of the strain RLC41-6, through systematic analysis of the effects of zinc ion concentration on the production of L-lactic acid and the Lactic Dehydrogenase (LDH) activity. Rhizopus oryzae was cultured at 36 degrees C for 36h with different quantity of ZnSO4 in fermentation medium. The fermentation products were monitored by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC), LDH isoenzyme composition in the cell was analysed by non-denatured polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). Our results showed that the concentration of ZnSO4 in medium could modulate the expression of LDH isoenzyme except LDH1, especially stimulated the expression of LDH4 and LDH5. When initial concentration of ZnSO4 is above 0.02%, the LDH4 and LDH5 reached the highest level. However, the activity of LDH was inhibited by higher concentration zinc ion in extracellular environment. When ZnSO4 concentration is 0.02%, LDH activity reaches its maximum 200U/mL, the HPLC assay showed only L-lactic in the fermentation products (137 g/L), while the conversion rate of glucose to lactic acid is 91%. Zinc ion can regulate the metabolic processes of Rhizopus oryzae and modulate the types of the final fermentation products. An optimal concentration of ZnSO4 can not only facilitate the LDH expression but also prevent pyruvate from transformation into the malic acid and fumaric acid during the metabolism process, thereby enhance the metabolism of glucose to lactic acid of Rhizopus oryzae.

In this work, amorphous silicon (a-Si) thin films were prepared by ion-beam-assisted sputtering, the effect of assisted-ion-beam gases on the thin-film structure were investigated using Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and spectroscopic ellipsometry. It was observed that the introduction of assisted-ion beam improved the thin-film structure, and the ion-beam-assisted sputtering a-Si thin films possessed higher short-range order, intermediate-range order, lower microstructure parameter (R*) and defect density of states with the increased of hydrogen concentration in the assisted-ion beam gases, which due to the transfer of energy from ion to the surface Si atoms and the formation of Si-H bonds in the a-Si thin films. The a-Si thin films deposited with hydrogen-ion beam possessed the absorption coefficient at 0.8 eV and microstructure factor of 0.7 cm-1 and 0.48. It was illumined that the device-quality a-Si thin films can be achieved under the ion-beam-assisted sputtering. © 2016 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The author researches on the allelopathy effects of different viscosity (0-2.5g.mL-1) C. Cathayensis exocarp extracting solution, on green bean, wheat, soy bean and corn seeds. By calculation of the pot plants morphological and physiological indexes, the result shows: the viscosity (0.1-0.5g.mL-1) solution could greatly promote the seed germination. The effects of the viscosity (0.1g.mL-1) solution on wheat and green beans are the most noticeable, with the increase of 38% and 24% respectively as compared to control groups, and reach the extreme noticeable level(P<0.05); the viscosity (0.1-0.5g.mL-1) solution increase the activity of a-amylase, suppress the activity of indoleacetic acid oxidase, increase the contents of the soluble sugar, amino acid, indoleacetic acid, decrease the contents of the starch and protein and accelerate the conversion rate of the starch and protein. The research shows: the low viscosity C. Cathayensis exocarp extracting solution could promote the seed germination, while the high viscosity solution would disdain the germination; the sensitivity of different crops towards the C. Cathayensis exocarp extracting solution is as follows: wheat >green bean > corn >soy bean. © 2011 IEEE.
