HLA (High Level Architecture) is a distributed simulation framework; it has the advantage of portability, and reusable. This paper introduces HLA in the field of the equipment support efficiency evaluation simulation. It analyzes the basic principles of HLA and federal development process. The operating work and function are analyzed. The paper designed 9 modules for the equipment support efficiency evaluation simulation system base on HLA. Portal as one of the visibility determination methods is widely used for large scale indoor scene. With the deepening research, we find that portal can do more works than we thought, including simulating mirror, connecting cells and dividing cells more simply. In this paper, first, we give the basic conception of portal, analyze the status and development trend of it, and divide portal into two categories: conventional portal and arbitrary portal. Conventional portal is a planar portal, defined on cell boundaries and used to form a CPG graph connecting the cells of the subdivision. Arbitrary portal is non-planar portal, can be any arbitrary surface, so it may exist anywhere within a cell or outside the indoor scene and connect to any space with an adjacent cell. Then, we describe the detail development of each type, comparing their difference and the different methods about portal. Finally, we point out some key research issues that need to be studied in the future. © 2014 IEEE. Source

The Zn-Ti barium ferrite hollow ceramic microsphere microwave absorption materials have been prepared with a self-reactive quenching method, which are new type microwave absorption materials with a core/shell structure and a lower density than general ferrite. From the SEM, EDS and XRD analyses, the results show that the materials have a middle hollow structure, the ball shape is regular and the particle size distribution is uniform. After heat treatment, the noncrystalline phases have been translated into crystalline phase and the most constituent phases are BaZnTiFe10O19 and BaFe12O19. From the test of microwave absorption property, the hollow ceramic microsphere material has the performance of microwave absorbing. Moreover, after heat treatment the microwave absorption properties have been raised. The lowest reflection rate is -21.98 dB and the reflection rate less than -10 dB frequency bands width is more than 2 GHz. ©, 2015, Rare Metals Materials and Engineering Press. All right reserved. Ground on features of application systems with workflow as the core, this paper tailors 'software process based on workflow', which focuses on three areas: workflow diagrams, user task interface, and business logic. In addition to, it analyzes and defines the basic tasks, the basic roles and basic working product to complete these three areas. As an important engineering work, maintainability design, analysis, evaluation and other activities runs through the entire weapon equipment development process. To solve the current maintenance puzzle in the beginning, and let the maintenance in time, economic and effective, this paper build up the weapon equipment maintain-ability lifecycle models from function view, information view and process view oriented on the concurrent engineering (CE). Accordingly, put the maintainability design, analysis and evaluation works in to practice throughout the weapon equipment system analysis, design, manufacture, test, evaluation and other engineering activities in the earlier phase of weapon equipment system demonstration, thus can make the equipment have the best maintainability character by the roots. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
