An assessment method based on the SE-DEA(Super Efficiency Data Envelopment Analysis) model is proposed to investigate the relative efficiency of extended black-start restoration plan. The basic theory of DEA model is introduced and multiple assessment indexes are constructed according to the simultaneous restart of multiple units in extended black-start to reflect the multiple factors of restoration process, such as restoration time, unit restoration, network structure and so on, based on which, the SE-DEA model is adopted to evaluate its relative efficiency. As an example, an actual extended black-start restoration plan is evaluated by the proposed method and results demonstrate that it evaluates the relative efficiency of extended black-start restoration plan objectively and effectively. ©, 2015, Electric Power Automation Equipment Press. A synthetic weight based gray correlation evaluation method to assess the recovery effect of extended black-start plan is proposed. Firstly, a relatively complete assessment index system including unit restoration, network structure, power flow distribution and operating states is constructed; secondly, the fuzzy weighting method and the entropy weight method are used to calculate the subjective and objective weights of the indices respectively, and the synthetic weight of each index is obtained by game theory based combination weighting method to remedy the defect of single weighting method; finally, the improved gray correlation analysis method is used to synthetically assess the restoration effect of the extended black-start scheme. The rapid development of the grid creates the conditions that put lots of new equipment into operation. The mode of compiling the new equipment start-up scheme by hand is inefficient. The risk of this mode can not be managed and controlled. The requirements of operation and maintenance in power grid can not be satisfied. According to the operational features and the practical needs of putting new equipment into operation, the MAS based compilation model in power grid new equipment start-up scheme is established combined with the technology of MAS. The data source maintenance, intelligence, easy maintenance, friend interface interaction of this model, the function of human-computer interaction Agent and the coordinated control strategy between the various agents in the model are highlighted. Finally, taking the D5000 platform as the data source, the developed practical system using VC # language based on B/S mode can fully enhance the intelligent level of compiling the new equipment start-up scheme and meet the demand of multi-sectoral circulation sign, to realize the control of the risk in putting new equipment into operation. © 2016, Power System Protection and Control Press. The wave recording scheme for smart substation is presented combined with the practice. Independent wave recorder is still needed, and it should integrate the functions of network recording and analysis, realize the tri-state recording, be suitable for different network structures of station process level, and pay attentions to data synchronization and data authenticity. It is more practical to record the output of merging units. The asynchronous original message should be recorded and synchronized, both being optionally shown. The received GOOSE message should be redundant and reliable, with enough resolution. Combined with other data, deep and expanded applications of recorded data should be developed on unified information platform to realize the state estimation and tri-state data analysis in both substation and dispatch center.

Due to only utilizing one common Lyapunov matrix there was a certain conservatism in traditional H 2/H ∞ control method, in the mean time the uncertainty caused by unknown system structure and change of operation point was not taken into account in traditional method. In allusion to these defects a control strategy of inter-area oscillation, which considered both reduction of conservatism and uncertainty of polytope, was proposed. Firstly, the Lyapunov matrix in H 2/H ∞ control theory was separated from system matrix; then Lyapunov matrices for H 2 control and H ∞ control, which could make the constraints apices of the polytope tenable, were derived respectively; Finally the input vectors of feedback control, which could satisfy the uncertainty of polytope, was attained. Simulation results of IEEE 2-area 4-machine system showed that comparing with the H 2/H ∞ control method, in which the conservatism was not reduced and the uncertainty of polytope was not considered, the proposed method possessed stronger robustness and could suppress inter-area oscillation more effectively.

In allusion to the difficulty of determining low-frequency oscillation modals under evident fluctuation of operational parameters of large-scale complex power grid, a method is proposed to analyze oscillation modals by interval models and complex modal second-order perturbation theory. Firstly, interval distribution models of frequency, damping and participating factors under uncertain information are built; then the variation of above-mentioned characteristic elements of system oscillation modals under wider varying intervals of operational parameters is estimated by complex modal second-order perturbation theory. Simulation results of IEEE 16-machine 68-bus system show that even though multi operational parameters of large-scale complex power grid vary evidently and simultaneously, the small signal stability performance of the system can be also estimated accurately by the proposed method and more overall information can be provided to operation personnal. Meanwhile, the results of analyzing low-frequency oscillation modals by the proposed method are more accurate than those by the first-order perturbation.
