Radiometry (or Microwave Thermography) as an early non-invasive and highly sensitive method helps on the detection of the malign tumors in the early curable stages, contributing to diminish the mortality which appears in the cases where the breast cancer was detected in late incurable stages. In this paper we present a novel design of an antenna array structure which is a crucial part in a radiometer system. The flexible compact antenna array is composed of two elements coupled with a T-junction, feded by a coplanar waveguide (CPW). Using both CST Microwave Studio and HFSS Software The antenna array prototype has been built and carried out. The proposed smart structure provides a bandwidth of 480 MHz around operating frequency of 3 GHz with a total gain of about 6 dBi.

Different modelling approaches have been proposed to automate the process of design and development of data warehouse. Some of them use the model driven architecture, however they are more focused on designing platform independent model (PIM) and platform specific model (PSM) and reserved unfortunately few efforts for requirements modelling and design computational independent model (CIM). This situation can be explained essentially by the presence of mature technologies and methods used for the representation of PIM and PSM models. Moreover, there are no standards to build CIM. Within this context, data warehousing projects fail due to not much attention paid on the requirement analysis phase. To overcome this problem, this study provides an approach to build a CIM architecture for modelling data warehouse requirements using an unified modelling language (UML) profile that extends the use cases and business process models, and proposes requirements specifications using SBVR structured English. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2017.

An electrochemical flow injection analysis method for the selective determination of ortho-diphenols have been developed and optimized. The method is based on the use of sodium molybdate as an electrochemical mediator. The selectivity of the measurement has been evaluated with respect to different ortho-diphenols and phenols that are usually found in extra-virgin olive oil. After FIA optimization the protocol has been applied to the detection of olive oil samples and results were compared with a reference method. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.

This study concerns the results of Physicochemical and mineralogical characterization of Grey Clay resulting from the transformation of Safi brown Clay treated with Chloridric acid (HCL 3N) and its potential for use in Ceramic technology. Several techniques were used; in particular X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy coupled with EDX microanalysis (SEM-EDX), differential thermal and gravimetric analyses (DTA-TGA) and finally infrared Fourier transform (FTIR) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF). The first objective of this work is to put a new line of research that deals with the transformation of Safi brown Clay on Grey Clay, the use of this clay in ceramic technology. The second objective was to develop gels of oxides of high purity from these clays. we can say that the Grey clay of Safi has the same characteristics of clays used in the ceramics industry (medium heat loss, low shrinkage, good flexural strength and good behavior in plasticity), this Grey clay Safi adding 0.48% sodium carbonate is sufficient to have a good deflocculation and the viscosity is minimum corresponds to the stability of the slip, in his introduction to a formula of slip was successful with a rate of 15 to 45%. The SEM-EDX, X-ray, chemical analysis and Infrared spectroscopy demonstrated and allowed us to identify the different minerals that make up the Grey clay, compared with the available data, we identified illite and kaolinite as clay minerals, other minerals present as impurities major are quartz, calcite, dolomite and feldspar. These results show the important features to justify its use in the ceramic industry.

Searching for information on the Internet is not only an activity newly rediscovered, but also a strategic tool to achieve a wide variety of information. Indeed, it's extremely important to know how to find the information quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, the Web is so huge and so little structured, that gathering precise, fair and useful information becomes an expensive task. In order to define an information retrieval tool (meta search engine) that brings together multiple sources of information search, interest must be credited to the merger phase of search engines results. On the other hand, information search systems tend primarily to model the user with a profile and then to integrate it into the information access chain, to better meet its specific needs. This paper presents a custom fusion method based on physical Barycenter method and values retrieved from the user profile. We evaluated our approach on multiple domains and we present some experimental results. © 2005 - 2014 JATIT & LLS. All rights reserved.
