The surface roughness data of test-pieces with transverse profiles were firstly measured by a roughness profile measuring analyzer. With the help of the Fourier nonlinear approximation the measured data were used to form a roughness function which was superimposed to film thickness equation and a mixed thermal elastohydrodynamic lubrication model was then established. Based on the model, 280 sets of numerical calculations were carried for both medium and heavy duty transmissions through changing the roughness values. The results show that the contact stress τmax,r for rough teeth surfaces is increased by 5% compared with the contact stress τmax,s for smooth teeth surfaces when the root mean square roughness of tooth surface σ≤0.3 μm; While the τmax,r is increased by 15-20% compared with the τmax,s when σ≥0.5 μm. At the end, several theoretical formulas for determining the roughness factors are created based on the multiple regression analysis of the above calculated results. © 2016, Editorial Department of JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL STRENGTH. To reduce the energy consumption of investment casting production, reduce labor intensity and improve product quality and production efficiency, a investment casting production line of automation and low energy consumption has been researched and designed. The major equipments of the new production line were designed, such as energy-saving roaster, casting conveyor, roasting car, stop-mechanism, off pieces-machine, etc. The annual production capacity of the production line builted is increased by 23%, the rejection rate is reduced by 30%, the average rate of liquid steel products is increased by 5%, the annual supplies and energy saving is 3 times the investment. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications.

The Bayes estimators of the parameter of Burr-type X distribution are contained based on Type-II censored sample under LINEX loss function. We assume two prior distributions of parameter, namely, quasi-prior and conjugate prior. The admissibility and inadmissibility of these estimators are also discussed. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate our results. © 2011 IEEE.

Vendor selection is important for developing vendor chain partnership. With existing literature works as the base, this paper improves the model of vendor selection and develops a mixed-integer programming model for two-tier vendor selection. In this model, the performance levels of a vendor's vendor will be considered. Two-tier vendor selection model will increase the benefit of all members on the supply chain, however, it may increase the cost of some members and thus coordination becomes necessary to benefit all parties. Risk management is one of the top priorities in the financial industry today. The research of quantifying risk is one of risk management's centers. Quantifying the risk of financial time series amounts to measuring their expected shortfall. Asymmetric Power Distribution (APD) is a new family of densities for expected shortfall. The main feature of the APD is that it combines the flexible tail decay property with the asymmetry, which makes it particularly suited for modeling the behavior of financial returns. In this paper, a non-parametric estimator, as a improvement to the traditional estimators, used the Support Vector Machine (SVM) for expected shortfall based on APD is proposed. The simulated studies show that this method can depict the distribution characters of Asymmetric Power Distribution with good results. © 2010 IEEE.

Moreover, the shareholding percentage of professional manager may directly affect manager's performance. Accordingly, this thesis researches on how the managerial discretion effects on the corporate performance in different level of manager shareholding. It aims to reach a conclusion of the effect between managerial discretion and corporate performance in theory and makes use of the public data which come out from parts of the listed companies of our country to support the conclusion by demonstration, which may provide a referential basis for listed companies on decision making related with manager shareholding level. © 2012 IEEE.

Compared with other areas of the country, the urbanization level of Zhejiang is comparatively high. The paper first makes a cluster analysis on the urbanization level of 11 prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang; then it makes a quantitative analysis on the factors that influence urbanization. The result shows that three indexes namely the proportion of the secondary industry and tertiary industry in GDP, employment proportion of the tertiary industry and employment proportion of non-state sectors that reflect labor force transfer space have the greatest impact; the proportion of market allocation of resources and proportion of investment in fixed assets in GDP has relatively large impact. Finally it proposes countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the urbanization process of Zhejiang. © 2012 IEEE.

In order to improve the preshaving hob design quality and efficiency, development of the CAD software that Engineering calculation and working drawing are integrated. Introduced the software's design of overall structure and main function of modules, elaborated the determination of the optimal design's variables, objective function and constraint and the choice of optimal method of the preshaving hob's antenna and chamfering section. The software has been successfully used in medium and large machinery manufacturing enterprises, improved the preshaving hob's design speed and design quality, and reduced the labor intensity of the designer. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications.

Using the asymptotic behavior of the nonlinear-ity at infinity and at zero, we obtained two nontrivial nonnegative solutions by the Ekeland variational principle and mountain pass theorem.
