Relay life prediction can effectively direct the relay rapid screening in order to meet the requirement of high-performance, high-reliability, long-life even zero-defect. For the situation that relay life prediction mainly focuses on the prediction of batched preduction, the method of relay life prediction based on the super-path time regress model is proposed in this paper, which is able to predict the life of single relay. Firstly, relay super-path time data are got through researching the experimental data of the Model HH52P relays in detail. Then the super-path time data is incorporated into the regression model after processing it separately. The result of relay life prediction can be got after that, and have more accuracy.

Reliability allocation is one of the important tasks of reliability design. For a complex system, in order to achieve its objective of minimizing the total cost in the reliability allocation, firstly, reliability allocation problem would be considered as a constrained optimization problem, the calculation method of the system design cost and the use cost was put forward, and the optimized mathematical model that the optimization goal is the total cost and the reliability of each subsystem as variables was established. Secondly, the penalty function method was used to deal with the constraints in optimization problem and the optimal solution of each subsystem reliability could be calculated based on the genetic algorithm. Eventually, a specific example was given to illustrate the data processing of the reliability optimal allocation method, and the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified. ©, 2014, Diangong Jishu Xuebao/Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society.
