This paper is concerned with the existence and exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions of BAM neural networks with inertial term and delay. Applying inequality techniques and Lyapunov method, sufficient conditions which ensure the existence and exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions of BAM neural networks are presented. Our results are new and supplement some previously known ones. © 2014 Elsevier B.V.

In this letter, a class of Cohen-Grossberg shunting inhibitory neural networks with time-varying delays and impulses is investigated. Sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of antiperiodic solutions of such a class of neural networks are established. Our results are new and complementary to previously known results. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our main results. © 2014 Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This paper deals with the existence, the boundedness and the asymptotic behavior of the positive solutions to a first order fuzzy Ricatti difference equation xn+1=A+xnB+xn,n=0,1,...where { xn} is a sequence of positive fuzzy numbers, A,B and the initial value x0 are positive fuzzy numbers. Moreover an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results obtained.

The paper considers a supply chain contain two competing manufacturers with different market share and a retailer, examines the impact of different market share on product quality level and supply chain profits while two manufacturers competition and cooperation. The conclusions show that: from the market share point of view, whether the two manufacturers are competing or cooperation, the greater the market share of the manufacturers, product quality level, market demand and profits of manufacturers and retailer are higher, and they increasing with the increase of the market share. Under the condition of cooperation, the wholesale price, retail price, product quality level and the profits of manufacture are higher than those of the competition, but the market demand and the profits of the retailer are lower. For the same market share gap, the gap between the two manufacturers' demand and the profits in cooperation model are greater than that of the competition model, while the gap of quality level in the cooperation model is the same as that of the competition model, and they all increase with the increase of the market share gap. In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making problems for evaluating the China's tax collection efficiency with 2-tuple linguistic information. We extended the TOPSIS model to solve the evaluation problems of the China's tax collection efficiency with 2-tuple linguistic information. According to the traditional ideas of TOPSIS, the optimal alternative(s) is determined by calculating the shortest distance from the 2-tuple linguistic positive ideal solution (TLPIS) and on the other side the farthest distance of the 2-tuple linguistic negative ideal solution (TLNIS). It is based on the concept that the optimal alternative should have the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and on the other side the farthest distance of the negative ideal solution. Finally, a numerical example for evaluating the China's tax collection efficiency with 2-tuple linguistic information is used to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed model.

The characteristics of Strategic emerging industries such as quasi-public, external and high-risk predestinate the inevitably market failure in the development process and government should make rational public policy choices on Strategic emerging industries. Aiming to the different situation of market failure, government should make different measures. Those measures are put forward: making development plans and programs to guide the development, to be eligible for funding, reduce risk, and guide enterprises to enter the field of strategic emerging industries, improving service system to build a bridge between strategic emerging industries and the research of science and technology, strengthening infrastructure construction, provide a good environment for the strategic development of new industries. © 2016 by Aussino Academic Publishing House.

In Thailand, a universal coverage health care scheme for Thai citizens and a foreign worker health insurance program for registered foreign workers have been implemented since 2001. This study uses the 2000-2004 panel data of the Kanchanaburi Demographic Surveillance System to explore the role of health insurance in influencing the use of health care for Thai, Thai ethnic minority, and ethnic minority migrants from 2000 to 2004. The results show that health insurance plays a major role in improving the use of health care for ethnic groups, especially for Thai ethnic minorities. However, a gap still existed in 2004 between health insurance and health care use by ethnic minority migrants and by Thais. The results suggest that improving health insurance status for ethnic minority migrants should be encouraged to reduce the ethnic gap in the use of health care. © 2010 APJPH.

This paper focuses on the capacity-investments in a duopoly setup where quality is determined by congestion. Network providers invest in capacity-expanding measures first and then compete in prices. A continuum of consumers have to decide which firms they connect (or do not connect at all). A unique profit-maximizing capacity-investment level is found, and a threshold condition to determine whether over-investing or under-investing is brought. © 2015 IEEE.

The construction and application of enterprise management information system (EMIS) play a major role for the survival and development of the enterprises. However, while we are noticing the rapid development of MIS, we must pay attention to the problems that exist in the construction of enterprise management information system (EMIS) projects. The success rate of the construction of enterprise management information system (EMIS) projects is lower than that of other projects both in developed and developing countries. More and more investments in it can't reach expectation of the enterprises. The problem of evaluating the enterprise management information system with intuitionisitc fuzzy information is the multiple attribute decision making (MADM). In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems for evaluating the enterprise management information system with intuitionistic fuzzy information. We utilize the intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid geometric (IFHG) operator to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information corresponding to each alternative and get the overall value of the alternatives, then rank the alternatives and select the most desirable one(s) according to the score function and accuracy function. Finally an illustrative example has been given to show the developed approach.

In this paper, a delayed sea-air oscillator coupling model for the ENSO is investigated. We obtain the sufficient condition of stability in equilibrium. By choosing delay η as a bifurcation parameter, we show that Hopf bifurcation can occur when delay η passes through a sequence of critical values. Meanwhile, based on the center manifold theory and the normal form approach, we derive the formula for determining the properties of Hopf bifurcating periodic orbit, such as the direction of Hopf bifurcation, the stability of Hopf bifurcating periodic solution and the periodic of Hopf bifurcating periodic solution. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the analytical results. © 2012 Chinese Physical Society.
