Using pinus massoniana kraft pulp as raw material, the effects of fluff pulp preparation technology including alkali (NaOH) dosage, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) dosage, temperature and concentrated alkaline treatment time on the fluff pulp properties were investigated. It showed that the optimal technology was as the follows: NaOH dosage 8%, H2O2 dosage 1.8%, temperature 70°C, concentrated alkaline treatment time 10 min. The brightness of the pulp was 76.1% ISO and increased 51.6% compared with the original kraft pulp, burst index was 0.57 kPa · m2/g and decreased 48.2%, density and the absorption time decreased 11.8%, 47.5%, respectively. Meanwhile, absorption and dry bulkiness of the pulp decreased 8.32%, 5.43%, respectively. The brightness of the pulp reached 82.4% ISO when it was further bleached with H2O2, while other properties of the pulp met to the requirement of the national standard GB/T 21331-2008.

Pinus massoniana Lamb. was used as the raw cellulose fiber material to investigate effects of ultrasonic wave pretreatment and PFI pretreatment on fiber bonding and absorbability. Influences of ultrasonic wave pretreatment on fiber crystalline structure and hydrogen bonds were also analyzed by wide-angle X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The absorption and internal bond strength of fiber pretreated by ultrasonic waves increased by 23.49% and 4.07%, respectively, in comparison with those of virgin fiber, which would result in the improvement of weak bonding and absorbability. Instead, when fiber was pretreated by PFI, absorption decreased in comparison with virgin fiber and internal bond strength increased as much as 1.33 times than that of virgin fiber. The analysis of wide-angle X-ray diffraction curves and FTIR spectroscopy curves revealed that the crystallinity of fiber decreased by 20.59% in comparison with that of virgin fiber when treated by ultrasonic waves. Moreover, the effect of ultrasonic wave pretreatment on intramolecular hydrogen bonds was rather stronger than that of intermolecular hydrogen bonds. Therefore, the optimal swelling ability of fiber would be obtained.

This article introduces the general situation and the running of a large scale bamboo pulping black liquor recovery plant and introduces the experience of improving the continuity and stability of the recovery boiler running through technical modification, regulating operation, strengthening equipment management, optimizing balance of system and operation controlling. The compact continuous digester was used in kraft bamboo pulp production with capacity of 200000 t/a in Chitianhua. This paper presented the operation experience of the digester, including the solution of the problems such as the impurities and size of the bamboo chips, the chip level control in the impregnation tower, the unstable running of the top separator, blocking of the extraction screens both in cooking tower and impregnation tower.
