Cofiring food waste with coal for electricity generation has not only reduce fossil fuel costs, but can lower the greenhouse gases (GHGs), NO x and SO x emissions. However, there are some pitfalls to impact on its commercialization and sustainable development. The emergy analysis theory provides a new idea quantitatively analyzing the relationship between the natural environment, socio-economic systems and the cofring food waste with coal for electricity generation system. In this paper, as the case of a 140 MW cofiring food waste with coal system in Southern China, the emergy analysis of the cofring food waste with coal for electricity generation system was conducted and its emergy sustainability indices were established. The results showed that the competitiveness of cofiring system was no advantage to the single coal-based power system, but its pressure to the environment is obviously smaller. The cofiring food waste with coal electricity generation system has more sustainable performance than the other fossil power plants. © 2010 IEEE.

A new method to eliminate the noise in the test signal based on the mathematical morphology theory is proposed. Then the correlation analysis is applied to compute the resistive fundamental harmonic leakage current. The measurement accuracy of leakage current of metal-oxide surge arresters is improved effectively, and it ensure the validity and reliability of false diagnosis for the equipment, The simulation results show that, comparing with the traditional signal processing method, the morphology theory can pick up the leakage current from noise satisfactorily, and furthermore, it can reproduce the vicious character in leakage current signal accurately, which is important for early fault diagnosis of equipment.

In this paper, using k-epsilon model, DPM model and SIMPLE algorithm in Fluent analysis software, a numerical simulation is carried on a WFGD tower's internal three-dimensional flow field. It puts forward a new type of tangential spray method, comparing and analyzing the different pattern of the conventional spray and tangential spray. And it researches the distribution of smoke flow at the different inlet velocity in circular spray tower. The results show that the new type of tangential spray arrangement on the tower flue gas velocity field distribution has better optimization effect, and it gets a evener flow field distribution when the velocity of inlet flue gas is 4 m/s at given operating condition. The droplet area increases with the increase of flue gas inlet velocity, and the best inlet flue gas velocity is existed for getting a flow field of best uniformity at different operating conditions. ©, 2015, Harbin Research Institute.
