By analyzing the mechanism of chloride ion erosion in concrete segments, andbased on the Fick second diffusion law, the chloride ion erosion model with variable diffusion coefficients was set up, in which the time, and diffusion depth were taken into consideration comprehensively. The effectiveness and reliability of this model was verified by an analysis of experimental data concerning the anti-erosion performance of tunnel segments. Compared to the conventional Fick second diffusion law model considering constant diffusion coefficients, this model can not only reflect the development trend of chloride ion erosion of the structure itself and the chloride ion concentration in concretes at various depths, but also predict the chloride ion content in different phases or at various depths. Furthermore, it can predict when corrosion will occur in reinforcements.

Based on the results of triaxial test, the creep mechanical properties of the mucky silty in region of Wangjiang are investigated, and the axial creep laws of which are also analyzed. The tests are carried out by the step loading method, and the creep curves of mucky silty under different stress states are got from the raw data by Linear method and Mr. Chen's method. It is found that Chen's method is more suitable for handling non-linear rheology of materials. Considering with the change law of the stress-strain isochronal curves, the results of the creep tests are fitted by the Singh-Mitchell model based on the creep curves. The model parameters are confirmed, and then a non-linear rheological model suitable for these soft clays in the region of Wangjiang is established. ©, 2015, Editorial Office of China Civil Engineering Journal. Combining switching control with space voltage vector, a method which applies to three-phase APF considering saturation limiting was proposed. First, error model of switching system of three-phase APF was established. A novel conservative stability criterion was found for saturation limiting based on Lyapunov stability theorem and convex set theory. And then according to space vector figure and waveform, three phase supply voltage was divided into six sectors. Switch subsystem combination which meets quadratic stability requirement was chosen in each sector from convex stability requirement. The subsystem which made Lyapunov derivation the minimum was chosen in the subsystem combination which met quadratic stability requirement. Finally, the simulation analysis and experimental results proved the correctness and feasibility of the proposed method. © 2016, Harbin University of Science and Technology Publication. Pseudo-dynamic test becomes more powerful when combined with internet technology, finite element analysis software, and real-time technology these years, which is also called hybrid simulation. However, it also becomes more complicated because of the varied hybrid simulation methods and the integration of different subjects, such as numerical analysis and actuator control. Thus a structural hybrid simulation platform is needed to help implement various kinds of hybrid simulation, and HyTest has been developed for this purpose. Four kinds of hybrid simulation methods, that is whole structure pseudo-dynamic test, traditional substructure pseudo-dynamic test, local and distributed hybrid simulation based on static substructures, local and distributed P2P hybrid simulation based on dynamic substructures, are all supported in HyTest. HyTest can communicate with MTS control system by using MTS VB-COM, which is a secondary development programming library. HyTest can also connect finite element analysis software such as OpenSEES and ABAQUS, to simulate the numerical substructures. Internet communication using Socket is adopted to enable data exchange between distributed substructures, and a transit server is proposed when substructures are distributed in different local area networks. The validity of HyTest is illustrated with a hybrid simulation on a one-bay one-story 6-DOFs steel frame. © 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.

The subway catenary with viaduct bridge is more easily struck by lightning. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the lightning protection performance of subway catenary with viaduct bridge, and then the scheme of improving lightning protection are recommended. Consequently, using ATP-EMTP simulation software, we established a model of subway catenary with viaduct bridge struck by lightning, and evaluated the lightning protection performance of subway catenary existing scheme.Moreover, we analyzed the influences of arrester and grounding point on lightning withstand level of subway, and proposed the scheme of improving lightning protection. The results show that the lightning withstand level of pillar installing arrester and grounding point is the highest, while that of neutral position is the lowest; when lightning strikes ground wires, grounding point obviously improves the lightning withstand level; when lightning strikes catenary, arrester obviously improves the lightning withstand level; every pillar grounding earth can greatly enhance the lowest lightning withstanding level of subway catenary, which is 2.5 times than every 200 m grounding earth, when arresters are more installed, arresters can enhance the lowest lightning withstanding level of subway catenary. © 2016, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI. It is necessary to research the lightning protection performance of contact network of subway elevated bridge section to obtain lightning protection measures. We established a lightning withstanding level model of subway elevated bridge, by which the impacts of grounding resistance and elevated bridge height on lightning protection performance were discussed. The rule of lightning protection performance on ground wire erection and lightning arrester location was also analyzed. The results show that the range of influence of pillar grounding resistance on the lightning withstanding level is less than 0.5 kA. Meanwhile, the overvoltage of subway elevated bridge section is about 8 times as much as that of general subway when lightning strikes a ground wire; the magnitude of lightning protection performance is increased by different levels in the insulators of each pillar after erecting ground wires, i.e. the lightning withstanding level is increased by more than two times on the nearest pillar. Moreover, the lightning withstanding level is more than doubled by installing lightning arresters when the ground wire gets struck by lightning, and when the contact network is struck by lightning, it is increased by over two times though the spacing insulators will be breakdown. © 2015, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI. Based on the foundation engineering of Xudong station in Wuhan Metro line 8, the finite element method is adopted to simulate the influence of foundation pit excavation on the adjacent viaduct pile foundations, and to analyze the stress and displacement of the soil and pile foundation in the process of excavation. The analysis results show that the protection requirements of the viaduct pile foundations which affected by the excavation of foundation pit could be satisfied. This calculating analysis may be a reference for the project implementation in later stages and the similar projects in this region. ©, 2015, Editorial Office of "Modern Tunnelling Technology".
