In order to determine the control standard of highway subgrade differential settlement reasonably, finite element method was used to compute the additional stress in pavement structure in the differential settlements. The results were compared with ultimate tensile strength of pavement structure layers, and the calculation formulas of the change rate of allowable differential settlement which would prevent pavement damage were presented. Based on the hydraulic and hydrological knowledge, the model of highway surface integrated drainage was established, and the calculation formulas of the change rate of allowable differential settlement which guaranteed drainage were also presented. Considering the effect of differential settlement on driving comfort, the response sensitivity of human body with vehicle vertical vibration was analyzed and the relationship between International Roughness Index (IRI) and longitudinal differential settlement was established. Finally, the standard of highway subgrade differential settlement was proposed and a case study was presented in this paper. The results show that considering the effect of differential settlement on driving comfort, the change rate 0.1% of differential settlement is taken as the control standard of differential settlement; considering pavement damage and drainage, the change rate of differential settlement is suggested to be determined based on the reasonable specific design parameters. Affected by the intersection of two regional faults and a water-resistant rock wall induced by magmatic intrusion, various unfavorable geological bodies may exist in front of the working face at FK18+330 on the left line of the Lingjiao tunnel. In light of these complicated geological conditions, a macroscopic tunnel geological prediction was first conducted on the basis of geological analysis, and then an in-situ geological detection was conducted inside and outside of the tunnel by the following methods respectively: land sonar+transient electromagnetic+geological radar and land sonar+differential electrical sounding+transient electromagnetic. Additionally, a comprehensive analysis and prediction was carried out, with the in-situ excavation results showing that the above comprehensive prediction method can effectively reduce the error of in-situ geophysical prospecting in the tunnel's axial and transverse directions as well as precisely determine the location, size and type of the unfavorable geological bodies in front of the tunnel face under complicated geological conditions. ©, 2015, Editorial Office of "Modern Tunnelling Technology". Doped fly ash with lime as a binder, can be used to stabilize the crushed stone, sand and gravel, as well as other types of aggregate formation of two gray gravel, two gray gravel and lime soil or other structure used as a road pavement base or sub-base, in order to to verify the effect of the high activity of fly ash in the actual project, taking into account two gray macadam base and cement fly ash macadam base for semi-rigid base type commonly used in the early construction of the highway in Guangxi, the ash proportion indoor test range, and ultimately determine the best ratio. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. For expressway cement concrete pavement bottom existing void problems, the paper introduced the method of chemical grouting treatment according to the analysis of the causes of the disease began. According to grouting material, devices selection, construction procedure, quality inspection, treatment effect, and the problems existing in the project and so on, this paper summarized treatment experience. An auxiliary member for pavement construction, including: a cylinder, a base plate and a leveling bolt; the cylinder includes a first cylinder part and a second cylinder part which are connected and communicated with each other, the first cylinder part is provided with a sling installing member and a slurry inlet, bottom of the second cylinder part is connected with the base plate, the base plate is provided with a bolt extending hole and multiple slurry discharging holes which are communicated with the inner cavity of the second cylinder part, the leveling bolt includes a bolt head and a screw, the screw extends through the bolt extending hole, the bolt head is arranged in the second cylinder part and the bolt head is smaller than the inner diameter of the second cylinder part. The present invention further provides a concrete slab and a method for pavement construction.
