According to the product assembly requirements, first pre-drilling thread bottom hole, tapping and milling surface in the tube union required by the drawing, and make the galvanized thread plug at the same time, the thread plug is screwed into the tube union as a tube assembly, and then put it into the casting mold. The tube dimensions of the casting would be achieved directly by the die casting process through die-casting mould precision limit insert . When the die casting is complete, remove the recyclable thread plug. The galvanized thread plug can prevent effectively metal from rust caused by the high temperature and oil of the fitting surface between the tube union and the thread plug to ensure the cleanliness requirement, and protect the tube surface against damage. The internal thread of the tube union ensure the tooth shape in the thread plug force in the die casting process, so as to achieve the purpose of directly by the die-casting process. Effects of heat treatment, such as artificial aging (T1), T5, T6, on microstructure and mechanical properties of high vacuum die casting AlSi10MnMgFe alloy plates were investigated. The results indicate that high vacuum die casting specimens exhibit sound structure and a better mechanical properties compared with conventional die castings. After artificial aging at 170°C for 8 hours, the tensile strength and the elongation of the high vacuum die casting specimens reach 351.3 MPa and 3.5%, respectively, which is the higher and lower those of the as-cast specimens, respectively. In addition, mechanical properties of the specimens produced are improved after T5 and T6 heat treatment. After T5 heat treatment, the elongation of the high vacuum die casting specimens is increased to 8.3%, obviously superior to that of as-cast ones. The tensile strength , yield strength, elongation and hardness of the T6 specimens reach 358.4 MPa, 286.6 MPa, 6.1% and 110.4, respectively. Source

Application of high-precision threaded inserts to the die-casting mold was investigated. The results show that by using 'insert-embedded-insert' inserts and through the precise positioning with the marbles limit structure in the mold, the problem of the aluminum running into the threaded inserts was solved, the die-casting process of high-precision threaded inserts was achieved, the subsequent workload of deburring reduced, and efficiency improved. Aimed at the complex side cover of gear-box, the gating system design was optimized by model flow analyzing software. Through shot blasting, increasing the Cu content in the alloy, modifying core-pin design and cooling system as well as back-off method, surface strength and hardness of the mould are improved, and bending deformation and shrinkage porosity are avoided, increasing qualified rate of the product from 70% to more than 95%. Based on the properties and characteristics of the EN AC-48000 aluminum alloys, the feasibility of the alloy for die casting piston guide-pillar in clutch for a car was analyzed. The process design and numerical simulation for the die castings were carried out. Meanwhile, the piston guide-pillar was trial-produced to analyze the quality, hardness and microstructure. The results show that the EN AC-48000 aluminum alloys can be used for die casting components. Ring-gating system is a satisfied choice for die casting cylinder component. With slow shot speed of 0.3 m/s and fast shot speed of 3.6 m/s as well as specific pressure of 80MPa, the quality and appearance of the piston guide-pillar meet requirement in the absence of vacuum die casting.
