Based on the research of light rare earth extraction process of traditional method, three exports and combined linkage, a new combined linkage light rare earth extraction process with fuzzy separation and replacement extraction was designed and developed, and compared with the traditional process technical economy. The result showed that the new process is advanced and more rational, and the cost of full-tank material is lower, the production cost is lower, and wastewater discharges less. Source

This paper proposed a new technology for aluminum removal from rare earth feed liquid with naphthenic acid. The result showed that content of aluminum in the solution could be decreased to less than 10 mg/L by one-stage extraction, and rare earth recovery was more than 90%. The technology has lower cost.
