A deadlock-free scheduling scheme and optimization for underground locomotive transportation system are presented. Firstly, three resource allocation Petri net models under different dispatching policies are modeled, their corresponding maximal makings boundary setting algorithms are designed, and the deadlock-free property of dispatching under maximal marking boundary setting is proved. Then, a genetic algorithm is proposed to minimize the time cost and energy cost, in which the transitions sequence is encoded as a chromosome, the feasibility of chromosomes are tested and amended by judging the transition firing condition, so that each chromosome can be decoded into a feasible schedule to satisfy all resource allocation constraints. Finally, an experimental example is simulated. The designed maximal marking boundary setting algorithm of deadlock-free schedule and genetic algorithm provide reliable theoretical foundation for underground locomotive transportation dispatching. Introduced a monitoring and control system for inclined-lane rail transportation, which was based on LonWorks field-bus. The tramcar location technology is double axle sensor coupling for redundancy, and their detecting results are mutual checking. In the process of analyzing axle signals, only the signal that is greater than the effective pulse-width can be decided as an effective axle-passing signal. By adopting field-bus control boxes for point-switches, combined with axle passing-signals, the concentration of a reliable remote control for all point-switches can be achieved. Took the detecting states of tramcars into consideration, the causes of some accidents such as decoupling prone, broken rope and derailment were analyzed. At last, two types of devices for preventing tramcar escaping, which were called as normally contact and normally open, were discussed, and their different control strategies for preventing tramcar escaping were also presented. Introduced the structure of monitoring and control system for general rubber tire vehicle transportation, then according to the characteristics of mine transportation, made a summary of the driving path division of rubber tire vehicle. As a result, the safe driving principles were put forward. In order to achieve the security dispatch, an analysis about the disposition rules of signal-lamps and position sensors was also presented. Furthermore, signal-lamp control principle, judgment method of vehicle cross-regions, dispatch deadlock prevention strategy and driver traffic regulation were discussed. Source

Improving capacity and reducing delay are the most challenging topics in wireless ad hoc networks. Nodes that equip multiple radios working on different channels simultaneously permit effective utility of frequency spectrum and can also reduce interference. In this paper, after analyzing several current protocols in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel (MR-MC) ad hoc networks, a new multichannel routing metric called Integrative Route Metric (IRM) is designed. It takes channel load, interflow, and intra-flow interference into consideration. In addition, an MR-MC routing protocol based on Interference-Aware and Channel-Load (MR-IACL) is also presented. The MR-IACL can assign channels and routings for nodes according to channel load and interference degree of links, and optimize channel distribution dynamically to satisfy the features of topology changing and traffic frequent fluctuation during network running. The simulation results show that the new protocol outperforms others in terms of network throughput, end-to-end delay, routing overhead, and network lifetime. © 2010 Science Press, Institute of Electronics, CAS and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
