Maintenance of reservoir pressure is one of the most power-consuming processes in petroleum engineering, where the main consumers are pump units at well pad pump stations. The article specifies a procedure to determine the optimum structure of WPPS pump units to ensure the optimum structure and the priority for switch pumps on/off at minimum energy consumption to water pumping, if the scheduled assignment volume is updated.


Some features of the development of the fishery section of the impact on aquatic resources at the design of oil and gas complex facilities in the light of publication of the "Methods for calculating the amount of harm to aquatic biological resources " , approved by the Federal Agency for Fishery Order N 1166 from November 25, 2011, are considered.


The experience of Giprotyumenneftegaz OAO in the sphere of research and calculation of electrical loads and electrical energy consumption at an oil and gas fields at present time is generalized. The main problems of calculation of electrical loads and electrical energy consumption with respect to the processing systems of oil and gas fields are considered. The tasks of improving the design calculations of electrical energy consumption and electrical loads are determined.

Soil freezing halo near two seasonally operating cooling devices is determined. Features of geometrical parameters of the condenser and evaporator of the seasonally operating cooling device and also the heterogeneity of soil are taken into account in the calculation. An algorithm, allowing to simulate the heat exchange processes of several seasonally operating cooling devices and soil, is created by the results of the developed technique.

The derivation of empirical formulas for prediction of the number of annual ruptures due to internal corrosion at high pressure conduits without inner coating is given. Formulas are obtained by mathematical processing of a large array of field data on actual ruptures for a long time in fields of Western Siberia. The results obtained are designed to develop sections on corrosion protection as part of projects on fields construction, as well as for practical use at conduits operation.

The results of laboratory studies of the process of separation of gas from oil under the effect of a strong electrostatic field are given. It is shown that the effect of an electric field on this process is equivalent to a significant increase in oil temperature or reducing the external pressure. A practical use of the obtained results, including the design of the oil fields construction, is suggested.

The attempt to define the coefficient of heat transfer from the surface of the condenser of seasonally acting cooling unit is made. The calculation takes into account features of the geometric parameters of the condenser (fin size and spacing, the size of the pipe), and also the finning material. According to the results of the developed technique the bundled software, which allows to simulate the processes of condenser heat exchange and to determine the most optimal finning design parameters, is created.

The possibility of use of the recirculating air for ventilation systems of buildings with the aim to reduce electricity consumption for heating the outside incoming air is analysed. A system of air cleaning on the basis of an irrigated precipitator is suggested. An estimate is made, proving the effectiveness of the application of the given equipment, reducing power consumption. The proposed electrical precipitator can be used at the design of oil and gas fields construction.
