The types of fluorite deposits and their geological and distribution characteristics are described. The current utilization and the urgency about the resource reservation of fluorite ore are focused. Based on the strategies of rare earth resources reservation at home and abroad and the feature of fluorite ore in China, a fluorite resource reservation system is tentatively proposed. It involves the combination of production area of fluorite ore and the rational division of government and fluorite related enterprises. The reservation scale, methods, layout and running mechanism about the fluorite resource reservation system are discussed in detail. ©, 2014, China National Chemical Information Center. With the rapid development of world glass and ceramic industry, the development and utilization of boron resources are gradually focused. World boron resource is rich but the distribution is uneven, mainly in Asia, North America and Latin America. In this paper, the world boron resource profile is briefly introduced. The boron distribution exploration and utilization in Turkey, the United States, China, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia and other countries, are emphasized. The current and future boron resources to changes in demand are analyzed and its prospects are proposed. The suggestions on exploitation and development of boron resources at home and abroad are put forward, which is significant to provide some guidance in the future. Source
