Dagouyuangou vanadium mine is a newly discovered middle-scale vanadium deposit in Shaanxi Province, that belongs to mineralization of black rock series in middle belt of south Qin- ling multi-metals ore-forming zone. On the basis of researching metallogenic geology environment, deposit geological feature and comprehensive information of mineralization, the author analyzed the metallogenesis of the deposit and considered that Cambrian Shuigoukou Formation is main ore-hosted position of vanadium and gold. Carbonaceous argillite and carbon-bearing quar- Tzose sandstone or carbonaceous silicalite are favorable host rocks as well as direct signs for exploration. The genesis of this vanadium deposit belongs to organic matter participated seafloor hydrothermal sedimentary reformation deposit.

The microstructe of mold fluxes of low-carbon steel and mould powders were researched by means of polarizing microscope. The result shows that the mineral compositions of the mould fluxes primarily are glass phase, wollastonite, quartz, melilite, pyroxene and feldspar. The main mineral compositions of mould powders is melilite. The quartz, pyroxene and glass phase are helpful to reduce the crystalline portion of mould powder, but the melilite, wollastonite help to improve the crystalline portion and promote crystallization of melilite. It is good for the crystalline portion when the casting speed droop. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

GPR (Ground penetrating radar) is one kind of the detection technologies with rapid, non-destruction, uninterrupted detection, and high-resolution. GPR can be applied to detect underground holes and loose soil layer and the other baneful anomalies, and therefore is widely applied to hole survey of the subway project in recent years. Based on briefly describing engineering geological background between F station and L station of a subway project in Beijing, this paper gives the arrangement method of GPR survey line in the construction area of shield method, analyzes detection results, verifies an anomaly by spading, determines the distribution range and its characteristic of the hole anomalies. The results showed that three obvious anomalies were detected in the area between F station and L station, and seriously loose soil layer was the cause of No. 1 and No. 3 anomalies, and hole was the cause of No. 2 anomaly. Thereby the anomalies of loose soil layer and hole could be detected accurately by the GPR technology, and then basic data of underground holes could be obtained. On the base of analyzing these data, effective measures could be adopted to avoid the hidden danger, then the safety of subway construction and surrounding environment of the subway project could be ensured. © 2011 Published by Elsevier B.V. This paper uses the technology of computer modeling, taking double-pole device as the research subjects in the Direct Current Method. The text discusses the problem, which exists in the sphere anomalous body curves of the anomaly characteristics and detecting depths based on the underground of half-space of uniform infinity. This paper defines the min/max and the best abnormal polar distance of the detecting reliable, and discusses the polar distance with the radius of sphere body, the center depth of sphere body and the relative resistivity ratio. The paper illustrates the detecting depdi of double-pole device in the condition of sphere anomalous body.
