Adsorption behavior of thiophene in NaY and CeY zeolites prepared by liquid phase ion exchange and solid state ion exchange methods by using the frequency response method, combined with the TG/DTG curves and Py-FTIR technique to analyze the the adsorption and diffusion mechanism of thiophene on these zeolites. The results indicate that L-CeY zeolites contain the strong B acid and weak L acid sites, while the S-CeY zeolites contain the weak L acid and a small amount of weak B acid sites. Only one weak adsorption process of thiophene can be observed for the S-CeY and NaY zeolites. Two different adsorption processes can be formed in L-CeY zeolites, and the different interactions can be attributed to the different acid sites.

Acidity and accessibility of L-NiY were characterized by in situ FTIR spectroscopy with pyridine (Py), 2, 6-dimethylpyridine (DTPy) and 2, 6-di-tert-butylpyridine (DTBPy) as the probing molecules, and the texture properties were characterized by N2 adsorption method. The textual property results indicate thatmesoporous defect positions exist in the prepared L-NiY zeolites. The in situ FTIR results imply that hydroxyl are strong Brönsted acid in supercages of the L-NiY zeolites. The accessibility of the Brönstedacid sites is different, and the ones in the defect positions show the more excellent accessibility. ©, 2014, Fushun Petroleum Institute. All right reserved.

TiO2-MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieve (n(Si)/n(Ti)=5) was synthesized by heating reflux method, using titanium tetrabutoxide as the Ti source, MCM-41 as the carrier. The samples were investigated by means of XRD, FT-IR and N2 adsorption/desorption. The static and dynamic desulfurization experiment was carried out using fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) fuel oils. Properties of selective adsorptive desulfurization of FCC gasoline on the adsorbents have been investigated in this paper by a fixed-bed adsorption experiment and a GC-SCD technique. It was indicated thatthe titania homodisperses in the modified MCM-41, titania connected with the pendant OH groups of MCM-41 via Si-O-Ti bonds. After the load of TiO2, the properties of adsorptive desulfurization on the adsorbents weresignificantly improved. The removal selectivities of the sulfur compounds in the gasoline changed slightly before and after the load of TiO2, while the poor removal selectivities of benzothiophene, 2/3-methylthiophene, 2, 3-dimethylthiophene, 2, 4-dimethylthiophene and 2, 5-dimethylthiophene on MCM-41 and TiO2-MCM-41 were the same. ©, 2014, Fushun Petroleum Institute. The CuHY zeolites adsorbents with different Cu loadings were prepared via impregnation method. The crystal structure of the adsorbent was characterized by XRD, and the surface acidity was measured by Py-FT-IR technique. The adsorption desulfurization performance was evaluated using fixed bed method with a WK-2D micro coulometer analyzer. The results show that the adsorbents have the best adsorption desulfurization ability when the copper loading is 4%. The adsorption desulfurization performance becomes better with the decrease of the ratio of B acid amount and L acid amount. However, the adsorption desulfurization ability reduces severely, when copper loading is too large which results the surface copper oxide species, even though there is no B acidic sites existing on the surface of the adsorbent.

CeY zeolites were prepared by liquid phase ion exchange (LPIE) and solid state ion exchange (SSIE). The adsorbents were characterized by means of XRD, N2 physisorption, ICP and the total surface acidity of the adsorbents was monitored by NH3-TPD and in situ FTIR spectroscopy using pyridine as a probe. Properties of selective adsorptive desulfurization of HDS gasolines on the adsorbents have been investigated in this paper by using a fixed-bed adsorber and a GC-SCD technique. The adsorption capacity was found to follow the order of S-CeY>L-CeY>NaY>HY. After LPIE and SSIE, and CeY zeolites had different surface acidity from NaY and HY, which greatly affected the adsorption desulfurization process. Additionally, Brönsted (B) acid sites was thought toresult in catalytic reaction of thiophene.

Sn-Cu/C and Sn-Cu-M/C catalysts with different auxiliaries for hydrochlorination of acetylene-activated carbon as the carrier has been treated with the concentrated nitric acid and Sn, Cu and other metal chloride as active components-were prepared by the wet equivalent-volume impregnation and characterized by XRD and BET. The analytical results indicate that the active constituents are highly dispersed on the surface of carrier which having larger surface area and bigger bore diameter after acidic treatment. Then, optimized reaction conditions, reaction temperature 170°C, space velocity 30 h-1, feed volume ratio V(HCl)/V(C2H2) 1.05, were obtained in atmospheric fixed bed reactor. The catalytic performances of Sn-Cu/C and Sn-Cu-M/C catalysts with different auxiliaries was investigated under the optimized reaction conditions. The experimental results show that Sn-Cu/C catalyst has good initial activity, the acetylene conversion and the selectivity of chloroethylene is over 98.0%.The catalytic activity and stability are improved after adding to the different auxiliaries under the metion-aboved reaction conditions, the acetylene conversion and the selectivity of chloroethylene is over 98.0%.

The removal of basic nitrogen compounds from the coker diesel by extraction with acidic ionic liquid as main denitrogenation agent were investigated. The experimental results show that good denitrogenation efficiency (up to 92%) for coker diesel can be obtained under the following conditions: the mass ratio of oil to denitrogenation agent 25, temperature of 25°C, stirring for 20 min under reflux and settling time of 1.5 h. Denitrogenation agent can be reused and there is no obvious decrease in the nitrogen removal efficiency (90%) after recycling 5 times.

The physical and chemical properties of NaY zeolites and liquid phase cerium ion exchanged Y zeolites (L-CeY) were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption, NH3-TPD, and in-situ Py-FTIR. The adsorption behavior of thiophene on NaY and L-CeY zeolites was studied by using frequency response (FR) technique and intelligent gravimetric analyzer (IGA), and the different adsorption models of thiophene on Y zeolites modified by rare earth metal were investigated simultaneously. The results indicate that different mass transfer processes in the micropores of these zeolites can be validly identified by FR technique. The adsorption behavior of thiophene on NaY zeolites is relatively simple. Two mass transfer processes can be measured, containing channel adsorption and π electron interaction. While, the adsorption behavior of thiophene on L-CeY zeolites is relatively complex. Except for two adsorption processes of adsorption in micropores and "S-M" adsorption, complex catalytic reaction processes is also detected in L-CeY zeolites under the condition of high temperature. ©, 2015, Fushun Petroleum Institute. Highly dispersed nanosized Au supported on SBA-15 by post-synthesis method was prepared and characterized by XRD techniques, and its catalytic performance on selective hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol was evaluated. The effect of reaction temperature, reaction pressure and reaction time on its catalytic performance was investigated, and find the optimum conditions are as follows: mass fraction of Au 1%, reaction temperature 220°C, reaction time 4 h, reaction pressure 5 MPa, mass fraction of catalyst 2%. The conversion of furfural and the selectivity to furfuryl alcohol are 92.1% and 97.8%, respectively. The catalyst can be recycled, and there is no obvious decrease on catalytic performance after 6 cycles.

K 2Ti 2O 5, which have a high crystallinity, were well prepared by sol-gel method. K 2Ti 2O 5 were characterized by XRD, SEM, and BET surface area and found to have relatively high soot oxidation performance. Certain amount of NO x has positive influence on the performance of K 2Ti 2O 5, implying that K 2TiO 5 may be a kind catalyst for simultaneous removal of NO x and soot. K 2Ti 2O 5 may be an excellent candidate for soot oxidation due to its high oxidation activity, water-stability, and economical advantages.
