Luminescent powders of Sr2CeO4/Re doped with rare-earth elements Nd, Pr and Eu were synthesized by citrate-gel method. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, fluorescence spectrometer analysis and the spectrophotometer analysis. The synthesized materials Sr2CeO4/Re shows excellent luminescence properties, such as broadband emission and excitation spectra. The excitation spectra is from 300 to 480 nm and the main emission peak is at 475 nm. The size is as small as 1-2 μm diameter.
