This paper presents a novel saliency detection method via updating initial labels from spectral graph in a semi-supervised learning (SSL) framework. For updating labels efficiently with graph-based SSL, two principles generally should be considered. The first one is that the updated labels should not change too much from their initial assignment. The second one is that the updated labels should not change too much between similar samples. To follow the first principle, the biggest eigenvector of Laplacian matrix, which contains rich contrast between background regions and salient regions, is employed to obtain the initial label vector. To follow the second principle, a new graph construction scheme, in which only boundary samples with similar features can be connected with each other, is proposed to reduce the geodesic distance in graph. Then a graph-based manifold regularization framework is exploited to update the label vector for separating salient samples from non-salient samples. A refinement function cooperating with an activation function is further presented for saliency optimization. Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves competitive performance against some recent state-of-the-art algorithms for saliency detection. © 2017 Elsevier B.V.

Because of the collaborative dilemma in the " One Case, One Meeting " system, the villagers cannot agree on village-level public goods supply. After the financial rewards and subsidy innovation in 2008, many villages were witnessed to break through the collaborative dilemma. Village cadres has played a key role on the provision of village-level public goods in the "One Case, One Meeting" system.which factors transform village cadres' behavior from "idleness" to "entrepreneur"?Based on " One Case, One Meeting" cases in Fujian Province, by means of quantitative analysis,the paper obtained a results that national performance assessment, election and villagers' meeting have significant impact on village cadres' work enthusiasm. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.

A double-steel-wheel vibratory roller possesses special vibration characteristics under double-excitation. Considering the asymmetric hysteretic characteristic of soil material in different compacting stages and the possibility of jump-vibration decoupling between the two vibratory wheels in actual working conditions, a 7-DOF overall model was put forward. Using the first order approximation, the equivalent stiffness and damping in different compacting stages were obtained with the harmonic linearization and KBM (Krylov-Bogolyubov-Mitropolsky) combined method. In addition, beat-vibration characteristics of the roller cab due to the difference between vibration frequencies of the front wheel and the rear one were systematically studied. Under model's parameters in different working conditions, it was shown that Poincare motion sections reflect nonlinear motion characteristics of a single period bifurcation, a double-period one, a three-period one and a multi-period one; the dynamic system produces higher order super-harmonic and sub-harmonic resonances during later compacting stages; with a larger exciting force and a lower frequency condition, the cab enters a chaos vibration; through adjusting excitation forces and the excited frequencies of the double-wheel reasonably, the chaos vibration can be suppressed effectively, the service life of the roller components can be extended and the operating comfort can be improved. The worksite compacting operation tests verified the rationality of the proposed model and theoretical analysis. © 2017, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock. All right reserved.

Ship hull form hydrodynamic performance integrated optimization usually requires a mass of calculation to complete a feasibility design, and the huge calculation complexity means that it is difficult to make a effective optimization design, must carries on system reconstruction. The paper separately illustrates the basic principle of MDF and IDF system reconstruction methods which are universally used at present, takes 46000t oil tanker principal dimension and hull form optimization design as example using two kinds of system reconstruction methods. The result presents that IDF is a ideal method of hull form multidisciplinary design optimization system reconstruction. The research makes a foundation for hull form multidisciplinary design optimization platform into application.

The aim of this paper is to develop a new methodology for solving bimatrix games with payoffs of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TIFNs), which are called TIFN bimatrix games for short. In this methodology, we define the concepts of the value-index and ambiguity-index and hereby develop a difference-index based ranking method, which is proven to be a total order. The parameterized bilinear programming models are derived from a pair of auxiliary TIFN mathematical programming models, which are used to determine solutions of TIFN bimatrix games. Validity and applicability of the models and method proposed in this paper are illustrated with a practical example. © 2016 - IOS Press and the authors.

Aiming at the current problems that the existing bridge structure reliability analysis model is solved slowly and it is difficult to find the global optimal solution and other issues. This paper put forward a kind of reliability analysis model of bridge structure based on improved simulated annealing algorithm, reduced the computational complexity of the inner loop to optimize the disturbance mode, used adaptive cooling control strategy to improve annealing process speed, used the effective offset to improve the solving way. Simulation results showed that the reliability analysis model of bridge structure this paper proposed which based on improved simulated annealing algorithm had better performance, and had certain feasibility and accuracy. © 2014 CAFET-INNOVA TECHNICAL SOCIETY. A hot-processing map and TEM images of a 1235 aluminum alloy have been used while studying hot-deformation characteristics of this alloy. The results showed that an ideal processing region exists in the high-temperature/low-strain-ratearea and that the power-dissipation efficiency is around 46 %. It is better to avoid deformations at the low-temperature/high-strain rate and the high-temperature/moderate-strain rate due to their processing instability and lower power-dissipation efficiency.

In this paper, we study the travel mode choice of residents to determine the set of factors which can influence travel mode choice of residents and analyze the influence factor characteristics. Using Bayesian theory, we analyze the travel decision-making data of the residents, discrete them, and use them in Bayesian network structure learning and parameter estimation by K2 algorithm. We establish a Bayesian network simulation model to analyze the dependence probability relationship between the parent nodes and child nodes. Validation test was carried out for the building simulation model of Bayesian network. Data analysis results showed that the Bayesian network has a high accuracy prediction for actual travel mode choice of residents. This paper studies the Bayesian structure and parameters learning method for the actual travel behavior, and this method which provides a new method for studying the travel mode choice of residents can reveal the relationship between the various attributes associated with travel mode choice through a new perspective. © Ruijing Chen.

It is shown that hardness and bending strength of segment can be increased by ball milled metal powders. The abrasive resistance and sharpness of three kinds of diamond circular saw bladess were tested.
