LONDON & BARCELONA, Spain--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Telit, a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced a joint showcase on Cat M1 with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., at Mobile World Congress, taking place in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2. Cat M1 is one of the new low-power categories defined in Release 13 of the LTE standard by 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project). The standard is designed specifically for IoT applications, can co-exist with today’s LTE infrastructure and spectrum, which offers a superior solution to proprietary technologies for low-power wide area networks, and is expected to have a large impact on the IoT space. “Telit is fully engaged in the development and certification of a new cellular platform based on Qualcomm Technologies’ LTE IoT modems. The aim is to reach the broadest technological coverage, features and certifications for Telit to date,” said Sandro Spanghero, Telit Senior Vice President, Global Product Management. “This program, announced in September 2016, will generate a roadmap of Cat M1 and Cat NB1 products, complete with GNSS integration and GPRS fallback. The first Cat M1 variants of the family are already under certification in the US, and European banded models are being completed to match Cat M1 and Cat NB1 network rollouts starting in 2017.” Telit is showcasing its ME910C1 ThingSpace-ready module based on Qualcomm Technologies' MDM9206 LTE modem in support of a Cat M1 asset tracking demo at the Qualcomm booth (Hall 3 / Stand 3E10). The application demonstrates a package tracking device utilizing Verizon’s ThingSpace client, demonstrating drop, theft, movement and location tracking as well as temperature monitoring, highlighting the technology engineered for deep in-building coverage and multi-year battery life. In cooperation with Eurotech and utilizing the same MDM9206 LTE modem, Telit is also participating in a live demo on LTE low-power category at the Ericsson booth. In the demo, a Bluetooth sensor connects to a Eurotech Multi-service IoT gateway which is integrated with a Telit ME910C1-E1 Cat M1 IoT Module. The data is then sent to a Eurotech EveryWare Cloud server, using an over-the-air transmission in band 20 (800MHz) serviced by Telefonica and carried by the Ericsson state-of-the-art Cat M1 infrastructure. The live, over-the-air demonstration is also a clear indicator of the advanced state of development of the Telit Cat M1 portfolio, with a module variant already running European bands. Visit the Telit booth (Hall 5, Booth 5E61) to preview the range of low-power category LTE Release 13 compliant modules. The portfolio of Cat M1 IoT Modules includes a number of variants of the ME910C1 series, member of Telit’s xE910 28.2 x 28.2 mm flagship module family and the ME866, a member of the xE866 miniature, low-power family measuring 15 x 25 mm which also includes Cat NB1, LoRa, BLE and Wi-Fi modules in a nested form factor concept. SUBMISSION VIDEO FOR TECH CRUNCH DISRUPT NY STARTUP BATTLEFIELD B Everyware is a mobile application, driven by a CRM marketing system, that automates the building of a loyal small business customer base. With a simple acquisition via mobile phone number at the point of sale, the B Everyware system connects a small business and their customer in a real-time, two-way communication mobile environment that promotes constant user engagement. In helping small business to elevate their customer experience with mobile, and consumers to interact with local businesses in new and advanced ways, we create a game-changing platform that drives the 10-mile universe across the country.

Everyware is a new start-up based in San Francisco, CA and Deerfield Beach, FL. They have developed a revolutionary consumer engagement tool called Everyware. Now, small businesses can connect directly with new and existing customers through a dashboard and mobile framework that automates marketing touch points, facilitates appointment scheduling, delivers reviews, and streamlines service-based communications. “For us it wasn't about re-inventing the wheel, it was about creating better roads,” says Larry Talley, CEO. Everyware is designed to optimize interaction within what the company calls the “10 Mile Universe” – each consumer’s network of small businesses. “The internet has done a great job of reaching everyone, with everything, but always seems to fall short in its ability to connect us individually to the immediate tactile world around us,” says James Kluetz CCO, and co-founder. The Everyware mobile application is tethered to a powerful relational database that small businesses can use to build and leverage interactions with their local customers, while harnessing the search and mapping power of Google to make those connections. Watch the video to learn more about how Everyware connects small businesses with consumers or watch the video and contact Everyware directly from their website. The dual dashboard/mobile interface of Everyware represents a growing trend in the mobile world. Users crave efficiency. Rather than keeping narrowly focused applications downloaded on a mobile device, users want an application like Everyware that combines many different features together. Everyware is a larger, multi-purpose solution that will begin to replace micro-apps that are often overlooked or forgotten after the first few uses. Everyware is designed to combine review, deals, navigation, search, social and scheduling into one application to provide a full and immersive remote control; the app empowers the user to access, organize, save and communicate with the businesses all around them. The technology behind Everyware began at Brand Tango, Inc, also founded by the Everyware executive team. Brand Tango had built an enterprise-level CRM system that is widely used across the hospitality industry. Larry Talley explains, “After spending several years on-boarding large corporations to the CRM, we realized small businesses were left out of the big data revolution. Small businesses could really benefit from the robust CRM system that we were using with our clients, but they were unable to take advantage of it because of the lack of resources at their disposal.” The team went to work re-imagining the customer relationship management system to engineer a small business dashboard and consumer mobile app that is very accessible to small businesses and their customers everywhere. During development the Everyware team asked two simple questions: “What do small businesses need?” and “What are the biggest challenges for a small business?” Since then, they have been hyper-focused on addressing the needs of every type of small business. The answer has become the Everyware platform, which is revolutionary in its duality with a marketing dashboard for small businesses and a social application for consumers living within their 10 Mile Universe. Everyware is a free mobile app that can be downloaded to an iOS or Android mobile device. Functionality includes a dynamic calendar, scheduling services, text messaging, push notifications, reviews, mapping directions, credit card payments, loyalty and social media connectivity with all the businesses they add in to create their 10 mile universe. The Everyware team will be attending Tech Crunch’s August Capital event on August 1, 2014 in San Francisco, California. During the August Capital Party, attendees can find out more about Everyware, its components and functions. Everyware will join their partners, EVO, Twilio, Google, iConnect, and Urban Airship along with Tech Crunch, who sponsors this start-up industry party. We simplify marketing and communications for small business by creating a personalized mobile connection that drives loyalty and redefines the customer experience. Everyware is the leading provider of mobile technology that helps small business succeed in a fine-tuned, easy-to-use platform for marketing and communicating with their customer. The company's commitment to helping small businesses use technology to more efficiently manage their marketing and appointment driven efforts has fueled explosive growth in Everyware’s products and services. Everyware is the first to revolutionize the 10-Mile Universe by introducing mobile connectivity to consumer. Today, Everyware continues to grow and evolve and is developing an expansive product offering encompassing a fully integrated, end to end small business software solution.
